At Worm Dale you stay in one of four stylish, fully insulated pods – perfect if you love the idea of camping, but prefer a comfy bed, a warm shower and your own little home-from-home.

Each pod sleeps up to five people and is cleverly laid out with two cosy double beds and a single bunk, making it ideal for couples, friends and young families. Even the smallest travellers are welcome here: children aged 0–3 stay for free. With underfloor heating and an ensuite shower room, you can enjoy this spot in every season – from frosty mornings to long summer evenings.

In the fully equipped kitchenette you’ll find everything you need for easy holiday cooking: a fridge with ice compartment, microwave, kettle, ceramic hob and all the essential pots, pans and utensils. On arrival, a welcome hamper with tea, coffee pods, milk and breakfast goodies is waiting for you, so your getaway starts the moment you walk through the door.

After a day exploring, sink into the sofa in the cosy living area, pop a movie on the smart TV or connect your favourite playlist to the Bluetooth speaker. There’s Wi‑Fi too, handy for planning tomorrow’s walk or cycle route through the surrounding countryside.

Slide open the door to your private outdoor seating area and soak up the views. Spend lazy evenings around the brazier, or hire a gas barbecue and cook under the stars. Each pod has its own parking space, and extra vehicles can usually be arranged in advance.

Worm Dale sits on a working farm, so you really feel close to the rural life of the Yorkshire Wolds – just remember to take care around livestock and farm activity. From here you can follow scenic walking and cycling trails through pretty villages and lively market towns, or drive out to the sandy shores of Bridlington and Filey. Fancy a day in the city? In around 20 minutes you’re at the park-and-ride for historic York, with its medieval streets, museums and cosy pubs.
