A campground with lots of (or almost exclusively) Dutch people and little privacy. It might be fun if you’re with a family of friends, for example, but for our family (with two kids aged 11 and 13), it wasn’t quite our thing. Luckily, we were parked right at the front on a somewhat more spacious and open spot. But we’d really like a bit more privacy. It is quiet in the evening, though, and the soccer field next door is actually pretty fun! In the nearby village, you can only pay with cash, just like at the campground itself. Convenient: the train station is really close by, and the S-Bahn lines are free with the Hohe Tauern Card, which you receive upon arrival (or by email).
