Park 720 at the Wörthersee is praised for its stunning location with views of the lake and well-maintained, clean sanitary facilities. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, bread service, and exclusive access to a private beach with sun loungers and jetty. The campsite is peaceful and ideal for nature lovers, with beautiful hiking and cycling opportunities in the surrounding area. Points for improvement include occasionally insufficient sun loungers at the beach, the lack of wifi at camping pitches, limited reception opening hours, and the desire for more shade and amenities such as a playground and on-site restaurant.

We stayed at the campground for 5 nights. The campground is beautifully situated on a hillside in a quiet location. The staff at the front desk were always very polite and helpful. The restrooms are mostly clean and of an acceptable standard. One slight downside is the steep, bumpy path down to the water. Because it’s a bit secluded, you’re somewhat off the beaten path. It would be nice to have a permanent restaurant on the grounds. The restaurant down by the water is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. But all in all, we felt very comfortable here and would definitely come back.

It’s a campground without a lot of frills. It’s in a great location right on the lake. The only tricky part is the path—you have to climb quite a few meters in elevation. The path is uneven; going downhill is easy, but going uphill is steep. The campground is just on a hillside. However, there’s plenty of parking right by the water, separate from the campground. It’s a 2-minute drive away. The campsites are arranged in terraces. A major plus is the water access point. There are far too few water access points on the campground grounds. And the restroom building needs to be renovated; it’s located below the campground terrace.

Beautiful surroundings. The campground itself is really just a stopover campground. We’re staying here for two weeks. But other than that, almost everyone here is a traveler who stays just one night or at most three nights. It’s very annoying because many of them leave early, around 4 a.m. We’ve experienced a lot of noise from this. And there’s nothing for kids to do. Even the lake, which you can see, is only accessible after a long hike along the Klum route, and then you have to cross a busy road where drivers are allowed to go 70 km per hour. Because of this, I didn’t feel comfortable letting the kids go on their own. The lake is truly beautiful and wonderful, though. We enjoyed it every day. You do get a Wörthersee Pass, which gives you discounts on fun activities in the area. We bought a Carinthia Pass—it was absolutely amazing! It let us do all sorts of things “for free,” like visiting different mountains via the lifts, tobogganing, going to climbing parks, and touring the mine. We truly had a wonderful time exploring the area.

Prachtige omgeving.

It is our second year returning here, and we love the location, views and the direct access to the lake. Even though we have arrived with a rough camper occupying our pitch without a reason, the management provided support and allowed us to pitch where we were supposed to. Will return for sure

The campground is located on a small, steep hill, and the access road is somewhat narrow, so you don’t want to run into anything when driving your RV or trailer up the hill (Unfortunately, this went wrong for us, resulting in damage. The spots in the first row are large enough. The other rows are a lot narrower, making it harder to maneuver. The restrooms are a bit outdated but generally reasonably clean. Otherwise, there are few other facilities at the campground. You can order sandwiches, which are a bit on the pricey side (though tasty), and you can pick up some basics at the front desk. If you want to go to the lake, you have to walk down a steep, muddy path. At the start of the path, there’s a dilapidated house that, first of all, ruins the view, and second, there’s a large loose concrete block right next to the path—which is truly life-threatening; it could easily fall on a small child. The path itself isn’t exactly safe either; it would have been better to pave it or build concrete steps or something similar. The swimming area by the lake is fine, though there aren’t enough lounge chairs or seating options for the number of guests the campground accommodates; you can also get ice cream there. Unfortunately, there’s no restroom, so you have to climb back up that dangerous hill. Three times a week, there’s a pizza stand where you can get inexpensive pizzas. In conclusion, this is a campground that still needs a lot of infrastructure improvements but definitely has potential if they can resolve these issues.
