Looking for a cosy mountain hideaway with your friends? Almhütte Nase is a rustic alpine hut at 1,700 metres above sea level with a jaw-dropping panoramic view over the Zillertal valley and surrounding peaks. It’s the perfect place to unwind together, far away from busy streets and everyday stress.

The chalet sleeps up to six adults in three comfortable double bedrooms – ideal for a group of friends or two to three couples. The heart of the hut is the warm and welcoming living and dining area, where you can cook, eat and relax together. The fully equipped kitchen comes with 4 hotplates, a dishwasher and toaster, plus a large dining table where everyone has space. In the evening you can light the Swedish stove, pour a drink and enjoy long chats while the mountains turn pink outside. There’s also satellite TV if you feel like a chilled movie night.

Step outside onto your private terrace with garden furniture and soak up the fresh alpine air. From here you’ve got a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and the valley below – especially magical at sunrise and sunset. It’s the perfect spot for a slow breakfast, an afternoon drink or some stargazing after dark.

Around the hut you can enjoy nature in every direction. In winter, the Mayrhofen ski area is close by, with the Ahorn mountain for relaxed cruising and the Penken mountain for those who love more action. In summer you can start scenic hikes and mountain bike tours directly from your doorstep.

Feeling hungry but don’t want to cook? The snack bar next door, run by your landlord, offers breakfast and daytime meals by arrangement. You can also buy fresh farm products like milk, eggs, bacon, bread, cheese and schnapps – perfect for a hearty alpine brunch with your group.

Access to the hut is possible all year round; in winter you just need to bring snow chains. Parking spaces are available. Almhütte Nase is a place where you can slow down, enjoy the view and spend quality time together in the mountains – with all the essentials you need, and nothing to distract you from the moment.
