General information

Domus 4+2 is a spacious and cozy chalet, fully equipped with everything you need. The detached, single-storey chalet accommodates 4 adults and 2 children. Some chalets are accessible via a few steps. The comfortable living room has a sitting area with television, a dining table, and a spacious kitchen with, among other things, a dishwasher, a filter coffee maker, and a combination microwave oven. There are 3 bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two single beds, and one with a bunk bed, ideal for children. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and sink; there is also a separate toilet. On the terrace you can use the garden furniture. Free Wi-Fi is available in Domus 4+2, and there is space to park one car.

In the enchanting Antwerp Kempen you will find EuroParcs Zilverstrand. This holiday park in Mol, Belgium, is named after its beautiful sandy beach. Water fun is a must here, with a swimming lake and an indoor pool. But that's not all!     Great campsite, but our pitch was half a mile from the beach/restaurant area.

    All show and no substance!
    We rented a house right on the lake.
    The cleanliness of the house left a lot to be desired. Dirty bedding, drink stains on the walls, countless bugs and spider webs inside the house. Some of the furnishings were broken or damaged. The deck by the house was great. Unfortunately, the walkway had sagged significantly, leaving a large gap between the deck and the ground. Unfortunately, the entire outdoor area in the park was heavily soiled with duck droppings.
    The indoor swimming pool is showing its age, but hygiene was okay.
    On the positive side, however, is the outdoor area with its playground and walking paths, as well as the activities available for children. The beach is clean, though the freshwater there is also polluted by ducks and other animals. Dining at the park is highly recommended; the staff are all very friendly.
    Unfortunately, we only had 3 hours after arrival to file a complaint; since check-in didn’t start until 4:00 p.m., we were unable to do so.
    Bottom line: Okay, but not for us!
    We were 4 adults, 2 toddlers, and 1 baby.

    Außen hui und innen Pfui!
    Wir haben ein Haus direkt am See gemietet.
    Die Sauberkeit im Haus, hat sehr zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Dreckige Bettwäsche, Getränke Flecken an den Wänden, unzählige Tiere und Spinngeweben im Haus. Einrichtung teilweise defekt oder beschädigt. Der Steeg am Haus, war super. Leider war der Zugang stark abgesackt, es war eine große Lücke zwischen Steeg und Boden. Leider ist der gesamte Außenbereich im Park, stark mit Entenkot verschmutzt.
    Die Indoor Schwimmhalle ist stark in die Jahre gekommen, Hygiene ok.
    Positiv ist jedoch der Außenbereich mit Spielplatz und Spazierwegen sowie das Angebot für die Kinder. Der Strand ist sauber, man hat jedoch Süßwasser welches durch die Enten und andere Tiere auch verschmutzt wird. Essen im Park sehr zu empfehlen, Mitarbeiter alle super nett.
    Leider hatten wir nach Ankunft nur 3 Stunden Zeit um Beschwerde einzureichen, daher erst ab 16:00 Uhr Check-IN war, haben wir dies leider nicht wahrnehmen können.
    Fazit, Okay aber nichts für uns!
    Wir waren 4 Erwachsene, 2 Kleinkinder und 1 Baby.

    We stayed in a Velthorst 4 for a few days—and I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised. You can tell throughout the park that a lot of money was spent renovating everything. A great deal has been redone.

    The location is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by nature. The park has its own lake for swimming with two beaches. If it ever gets too crowded there, the Zilvermeer is nearby—it’s also very beautiful and significantly larger. On days when it’s too cold, you can easily head to a small, lovely indoor pool instead.

    If we ever travel to the greater East Flanders region again, we’ll definitely choose EuroParc Zilverstrand once more.

    Wir waren für ein paar Tage in einem Velthorst 4 - und ich muss sagen ich bin positiv überrascht. Im gesamten Park erkennt man das viel Geld in die Hand genommen wurde sämtliches zu sanieren. Es ist sehr viel neu gemacht worden.

    Die Lage ist unglaublich toll in der Natur. Der Park verfügt über einen eigenen See zum schwimmen mit 2 Stränden. Sollte es da mal zu voll sein ist in der Nähe das Zilvermeer was auch sehr schön ist und deutlich größer. An zu kalten Tagen kann man gut auf ein kleines feines Innenschwimmbad ausweichen.

    Sollten wir noch einmal in die Großraumregion Ostflandern reisen wird unsere Wahl definitiv wieder auf den EuroParc Zilverstrand fallen.
