Kayaking on the Semois

The Semois is perfect for accessible kayak trips through a peaceful, green river valley. Start, for example, in Poupehan, Botassart or Bouillon and paddle downstream past pebble beaches, riverside meadows and forested slopes. Along the way, take a break or let children splash around in shallow sections. Many rental companies offer a shuttle service, allowing you to return to your starting point with ease. Tip: in high season, choose a morning start for more peace on the water, or go later in the day for warm light and long shadows in the valley. Bring a dry bag, water shoes, and afterwards relax on a terrace by the quay in Bouillon. Active, varied and suitable for almost all ages.

Ideal for half a day with kids or as a charming evening stroll after dinner.

New camper village. Friendly and helpful reception at the reception Clean sanitary facilities hot good showers. We had a good shadow place with this heat nice. Clean on pebbles. Nice footpath along the Semois to center 1.5 km Nice brasserie / cafe with nice menu, sandwiches ordering possible store with all the most necessary but self-scanning what again for some will be abused not to pay Now the lesser points. Close to the road so much noise of accelerating motos what even though moto lover disturbed. Large chalets under you so larger groups what 2 of 3 until after 0.00 h for quite a lot of noise leide. Autos can 24 /24 on and off. You can campers next to camper parking a on parking and take free electricity and sanitary / shower use because no code. Which so happened 2th night,Which should not be possible since we pay enough for it. . As well as no playground.so children play between campers which is sometimes irritating if you are looking for peace. Still small teething problems as 3rd night no shower because no water in plumbing. Alsook no hot water and table to sanitary to do your dishes what almost everyone does anyway so suck without table to put your stuff. This makes me decide that this will be a one-time thing for us. What a pity because it is a nice place if you like walking and cycling.

Nieuwe camperplaats .

As you can see from the map, there's no access to the sanitary facilities when you're in a tent. Beautiful surroundings but services could be improved.

We spent 2 nights at camper site A. Beautiful, spacious place, neat and accessible place to discharge gray and black water and also ample plumbing. Good base for beautiful walks. Will definitely come back again. Small tips: hot water to wash dishes would be very nice, as well as a sink for a hand wash. Both things that camper owners greatly appreciate. Good luck with the further development of this beautiful park!

Simply incredible 😍 a place to take your breath away! A calm that feels good, a view over the Semois, we took accommodation for two people there's just what you need, the bedding is comfortable and after a day of hiking it's essential. A really well thought-out safety barrier on the terrace! We'll be back

A lovely new village with comfortable, highly functional rooms. Friendly staff. Small store and breakfast that can be ordered the day before. The restaurant was our only major drawback.

We rented a six-person cabin for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The nature, scenery, and fresh air were truly amazing. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and well organized. We spent a fantastic weekend there and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway away from the busy city life — a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.
