Guests appreciate the friendly staff and beautiful location in the heart of the Ardennes, ideal as a base for walks and excursions. The swimming pool and enthusiastic children's entertainment are praised, as are the clean sanitary facilities. Areas for improvement include the restaurant (limited menu, inconsistent quality), the sometimes overcrowded pool during busy periods, and overdue maintenance of facilities such as the tennis court and playground.

A family-friendly campground—popular with many Dutch visitors—surrounded by unspoiled nature, perfect for a bit of biking. Be sure to bring warm clothes and rain gear, as the weather can be unpredictable in the Ardennes.

The chalet where we stayed was quite run-down. Lots of broken things and old junk that no longer works. One of the beds was broken, and the cabin wasn’t clean. We reported it the next morning; she noted that the bed was broken, and in response to the mess in the room, she said, “Oh, that’s not supposed to happen, no.” But nothing was done about it. Late in the afternoon, we went back to see if the bed had been fixed yet, but were told that it was a national holiday and they weren’t going to do anything about it. The next day, the problem was resolved because we asked again and demanded that they fix it.
Other than that, it’s a very outdated campground—a shadow of its former self. Not recommended.this is a translation, click here for the original

We just got back from a little over a week at Arden Parks Petite Suisse. It all looked pretty good in the photos, but the reality was a huge letdown. First, we stayed in a Tamaris mobile home. Well, that was truly a disaster. We also saw other Dutch guests leaving the same model home a little further down the row. The little step at the entrance was broken. The table leg inside was detached from the table, the patio chairs were rickety, the doors were rickety and the locks were noisy; it wasn’t clean, it was old and run-down, and the outdoor deck was also broken, with big holes in the decking. In short, it was nothing but misery. We went to the front desk to report all the defects. We asked for a new step and for the table to be repaired. None of that was possible, but we were allowed to move to the same model home next door. We had passed that one by earlier because, well, it was the same old junk and shoddy stuff. After a lot of hassle (the woman at the front desk was friendly, though), we were able to move to the O’Hara mobile home for a small fee. This was clearly a new unit with two toilets, two bathrooms, and a dishwasher. So it was really much better. Here, too, the patio furniture was shoddy, and the staircase could have used a little spruce-up, but it was still a good 10 times better than the Tamaris mobile home. We were told that the issues in our old cottage couldn’t be fixed and that it would be taken off the rental list. Well, the very next day, everything was fixed within half an hour, and new guests were already staying there that same day…… Ridiculous.
Other than that, the campground was okay. The surroundings were truly fantastic. The pool was very dirty and old. Loose steps on the side and a poorly maintained pool. We had a nice vacation but won’t be returning to this campground.this is a translation, click here for the original
Omgeving was echt fantastisch. -

Although we had a great vacation, our spot with the RV was all the way at the top. We didn’t really know what to expect, but with three kids who need to use the restroom, being all the way at the top isn’t very convenient. You have to go down two levels to get to the restroom building. So while the campground is definitely nice, please keep in mind the specific spot you’re assigned. Also, be sure to ask about any shade you might want.
Don’t expect anything fancy from the restaurant. The pizza simply wasn’t good, and I was also served a frikandel that was still half-frozen. If you want a good meal, look elsewhere or cook for yourself.this is a translation, click here for the original
