We arrived in the rain and found allocated pitch water logged as were the next 2 pitches offered. Due to the refurbishment of the site there is no bar/cafe on the site. The old facilities are very poor with cold or Luke warm water in the showers. One of the new facilities at the other end of the site did have warm showers. You may need an extra long electrical cable for EHU, I joined a 25m and 10m together. Ear plugs definitely for a good sleep to block out the road traffic and train noise. The advertised WiFi didn’t work. Would I stay there again probably not. Good points. The site is an easy 5km cycle to the centre. A bus runs to the centre every 10 mins for 3 euros each way. The tennis club near the site has a bar/cafe and WiFi.

It was okay for visiting Ghent, with good bus connections. It was pretty noisy at night, and during our stay (May 26) there were still a lot of construction sites, which meant there was no hot water in the morning. On the other hand, it was quite expensive.

War ok, um Gent zu besuchen, gute Busanbindung. Nachts ziemlich laut und während unserem Besuch (Mai 26) noch viele Baustellen, morgens deswegen auch kein warmes Wasser. Dafür aber recht teuer.

The staff were very friendly. Nice, spacious sites. It was drizzling and raining, so it got pretty muddy. There’s some traffic noise, but it’s a great base for visiting Ghent—there’s a bus stop right outside, and it’s also perfect for cycling.

De ontvangst was heel vriendelijk. Mooie grote plaatsen. Het miezerige en regende, daardoor werd het best modderig. Er is verkeerslawaai, maar een mooie uitvalscamping om Gent te bezoeken met een bus voor de deur en fietsen gaat ook prima.
