Hele fijne camping in 15 minuutjes met de fiets in Gent en wat een leuke stad is Gent.

We had a parking space and were there with a camper van. Well located for visits to the city, buses 11 and 19 leave from the site, tickets on the bus with a bank card or via the "de Lijn" app. A one-way trip to the center with line 11, stop Korenmarkt costs € 3.00. Very good shopping opportunity at Delhaize at the water sports track, easily accessible by bus or bike, on foot it takes... There is a bar on the premises at the reception; you can only get pizza to eat. Beer is freshly tapped, as well as a number of bottled drinks. There is also a lake on the site with a number of water sports facilities, which is also great for a walk around, as well as a tennis court and a climbing gym. The entire area surrounding Watersport Ahn is characterized by sporting activity, partly due to the facilities of Ghent University.

Vi havde to overnatninger med campingvogn. Fin beliggenhed for adgang til Gent Centrum. Venlig modtagelse. Vi lå i nærheden af en toiletbygning, der endnu ikke er renoveret og synes, at den var bedre, end vi havde forventet ud fra andres kommentarer. Pænt, rent og velfungerende. Pizza var ingen oplevelse overhovedet. En lidt kedelig, tynd og færdiglavet bund gør ikke noget godt for det endelige resultat. Meget trangt, da vi skulle ud fra vores afdeling på pladsen (plads 51), hvor både kantsten, skilt med pladsnumre og beplantning gjorde det til lidt af en udfordring at komme omkring. Både for de store mobilhomes, vi så køre ud - og for os med campingvogn på krogen. Men alt i alt en fin plads.

Very good located camp site for a city visit to Gent. Very nice welcome and service at site.

Large site, lots of cabins and motorhome pitches. Good bar at reception. Lots of activities. 15 minute ride into centre of Ghent. Facilities being updated, good showers with plenty of hot water. A little road noise, but not too intrusive.
