The luxury lodge there is stylishly decorated. Upon arrival, the beds are made and towels and toiletries are waiting for you. Enjoy the unique surroundings. The grounds on which the lodges are placed are currently still under construction. In contrast, our lodges inside are already as they should be: luxuriously and stylishly furnished.

Inside the lodge you will find a bedroom with a double bed, and a bedroom with 2 single beds. There are also 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet. In the living area there is a dining table and a sitting area. But prepare your food in the kitchenette, equipped with dishwasher, stove, microwave, coffee machine and contents. You will also find a terrace with furniture in front of the lodge.

Urban Gardens Ghent is strategically located close to the city centre, with excellent accessibility by bike (15 minutes) or bus (line 11). Guests appreciate the spacious pitches separated by hedges and the campsite's green character. Reception staff are experienced as friendly and helpful. The site is located in a recreational area with free access to a swimming lake and walking opportunities around the water. Renovation works are ongoing: new sanitary blocks are modern and clean, but older blocks urgently need refurbishment. Many visitors complain about muddy pitches after rain, noise pollution from the nearby motorway, and electrical hook-ups located too far away requiring extra-long cables.

    Considering it’s a campground close to downtown, there’s plenty of green space here and every sports and swimming option you can imagine.
    You can reach downtown quickly and easily by bus (runs about every 15 minutes) or by bike.
    The service and reservation process (including the AI chatbot) are really good.

    I don’t agree with some of the criticisms mentioned regarding the electrical hookups, restrooms, or sinks.
    Everything is new, easily accessible, and clean.

    Ghent is highly recommended, and if you’re here, you should really treat yourself to a few days in the city (at least in the summer).

    Dafür, dass es ein innenstadtnaher Campingplatz ist, ist hier viel Grün und alle Sport- und Bademöglichkeiten die man sich denken kann.
    Sowohl mit dem Bus (fährt ca. alle 15 Min) als auch mit dem Fahrrad ist die Innenstadt bequem und schnell erreichbar.
    Service und Reservierung (inkl. Service mit AI ChatBot) ist wirklich gut.

    Ich kann die teilweise kommentierte Kritik bezüglich Stromanschluss und Waschräume bzw. Spülbecken nicht teilen.
    Alles Neu, gut erreichbar und und sauber.

    Gent ist empfehlenswert und wenn Mann hier ist, sollte man sich wirklich ein paar Tage hier gönnen (zumindest im Sommer)

    The showers were lukewarm and then cold two nights in a row. But that’s the one thing you expect from a campground—hot showers! The tent/RV sites with electricity aren’t practical—there’s only one electrical outlet for the entire row, and when you’re at the end, even the extension cords they lend out are too short. There are no hedges between the sites, so there’s no privacy. The price is frankly high for a site, but it’s close to town, so it’s convenient. No mosquitoes—that was nice.

    Les douches étaient tièdes puis froides, 2 soirs de suite. Or c'est le seul service qu'on attend d'un camping, des douches chaudes! Les emplacements pour tentes/caravanes avec électricité ne sont pas pratiques, il y a un seul point d'électricité pour toute la rangée, et quand on est au bout, même les rallonges qu'ils prêtent sont trop courtes. Aucune haie entre les emplacements donc pas d'intimité. Prix franchement élevé pour un emplacement, mais proche de la ville donc pratique. Pas de moustiques, c'était agréable.

    Stayed here one night on our way down to SW France. We arrived at 8 am after a long drive from Lancashire and was greeted by the receptionist who found us a pitch as our booked one had not been vacated yet. She couldn’t have been more helpful as we were able to book in early and get some sleep. This is my second time here and the Belgian people I have to say are lovely.
