The luxury lodge there is stylishly decorated. Upon arrival, the beds are made and towels and toiletries are waiting for you. Enjoy the unique surroundings. The grounds on which the lodges are placed are currently still under construction. In contrast, our lodges inside are already as they should be: luxuriously and stylishly furnished.

Inside the lodge you will find a bedroom with a double bed, and a bedroom with 2 single beds. There are also 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet. In the living area there is a dining table and a sitting area. But prepare your food in the kitchenette, equipped with dishwasher, stove, microwave, coffee machine and contents. You will also find a terrace with furniture in front of the lodge.

Urban Gardens Ghent is strategically located close to the city centre, with excellent accessibility by bike (15 minutes) or bus (line 11). Guests appreciate the spacious pitches separated by hedges and the campsite's green character. Reception staff are experienced as friendly and helpful. The site is located in a recreational area with free access to a swimming lake and walking opportunities around the water. Renovation works are ongoing: new sanitary blocks are modern and clean, but older blocks urgently need refurbishment. Many visitors complain about muddy pitches after rain, noise pollution from the nearby motorway, and electrical hook-ups located too far away requiring extra-long cables.

    A nice campground from which to explore Ghent. Spacious campsites; clean restrooms.
    It is a bit pricey, though, if you don't use the many facilities (such as the swimming area, for example).

    We stayed at this campground for four days; it’s very conveniently located for visiting Ghent. Very spacious sites with drinking water, electricity, and hedges separating them, plus an open central area. The restrooms were good, and the reception staff was very friendly. However, we were surprised that there wasn’t a designated area for Wi-Fi—it … was only available at the tables in the pizzeria—which was inconvenient and inappropriate while people were eating. Wi-Fi is necessary for updates, and especially when traveling through different countries, we have limited data.

    Estuvimos cuatro días en este camping, con muy buena comunicación para visitar Gante. Parcelas muy amplias con agua potable, luz y setos de separación, espacio central libre. Buenos baños y personal de recepción muy amable. Pero nos sorprendió que no tuvieran un espacio para utilizar wifi, solo en las mesas de la pizzería, lo cual era incómodo y poco apropiado mientras la gente estaba comiendo. El wifi es necesario para actualizaciones y sobretodo al viajar por diferentes países tenemos datos limitados.

    Great for a short stay 👍
    10 minute walk in to Ypres / Menin gate.
    Really convient for visiting the big WW1 attractions.
    Clean showers and toilets with hook up.
    Staff super helpful and friendly.
    Even lent me a main hook up lead ( thank you 😊 )

    to be honest the location is perfect for Ypres, just 10 minute walk from the Menin Gate. The site is quiet and very neat. Friendly service. I would book again.

    A complete transformation compared to the previous campground. I’ll definitely be back—it’s nice and laid-back. It’s clearly still in the process of rebuilding and gaining new momentum. I’d appreciate a more authentic restaurant/bar if I were staying much longer. But as it is now, it’s fine. Both the staff at the check-in desk and the pizza bar were friendly and knowledgeable.

    N hele metamorfose tov eerdere camping. Kom zeker nog eens terug, lekker vrij en onbevangen. Duidelijk nu nog in opbouwfase naar nieuw elan. Meer echt restaurant/bar zou ik waarderen veel langer verblijf. Maar zoals nu voldoet. Zowel personeel aan incheck bali / pizza-bar vriendelijk en terzake deskundig
