General information

The luxury lodge there is stylishly decorated. Upon arrival, the beds are made and towels and toiletries are waiting for you. Enjoy the unique surroundings. The grounds on which the lodges are placed are currently still under construction. In contrast, our lodges inside are already as they should be: luxuriously and stylishly furnished.

Inside the lodge you will find a bedroom with a double bed, and a bedroom with 2 single beds. There are also 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet. In the living area there is a dining table and a sitting area. But prepare your food in the kitchenette, equipped with dishwasher, stove, microwave, coffee machine and contents. You will also find a terrace with furniture in front of the lodge.

    We happened to be at the CP during this year's marathon. Arrival and departure were no problem (you should avoid the start times). The reception was very nice and competent. Overall, the stay was ok. The CP of course scores with its proximity to the city, a little outside and therefore quite green. There was some street noise, more towards the morning of course. The toilets could have been cleaned a bit better, but that was fine. I can confirm the previously mentioned problem with the muddy pitches. When it rains a lot...well. We were really lucky with pitch 237. Once again there to enjoy Ghent...yes.

    Wir waren zufällig während des diesjährigen Marathons auf dem CP. An- + Abreise waren kein Problem (die Startzeiten sollte man meiden). Der Empfang war sehr nett und kompetent. Insgesamt gesehen war der Aufenthalt ok. Der CP punktet natürlich durch seine Stadtnähe, etwas außerhalb und deswegen auch recht grün. Straßenlärm war etwas zu hören, natürlich gegen Morgen etwas mehr. Die Toiletten hätten einen Ticken besser gereinigt werden können, aber das war schon gut so. Die bereits geschriebene Problematik mit den schlammigen Stellplätzen kann ich bestätigen. Bei viel Regen…naja. Wir hatten mit Platz 237 richtig Glück. Wieder einmal dorthin, um Gent zu genießen…ja.

    We were here with a large group for a sports tournament and we enjoyed Urban Gardens Ghent. Luxury lodges, beautiful location (part of a large green park) and tremendous help from the front desk with questions. Absolutely highly recommended!

    We stayed in the lodges with our sports team for a long weekend and it was wonderful. The lodge was very good clean modern decor and the beds were great! The location is close to downtown and in the middle of a park with lots of sports and recreational opportunities. The campsite itself has a quiet and warm atmosphere. Definitely one to repeat!

    We hebben met ons sportteam overnacht in de lodges voor een langweekend en het was heerlijk. De lodge was heel goed schoon modern ingericht en de bedden lagen heerlijk! De locatie is dicht bij het centrum en midden op een park met veel sport en recreatie mogelijkheden. De camping zelf heeft een rustige en warme sfeer. Zeker een om te herhalen!

    The service was friendly and the plumbing was well maintained but old-fashioned. The location is convenient due to the bus stop right outside the door, ideal for visiting Ghent. However, there was noise from the road, which affected sleep. There are also plans for modernization and there would come separate camper places, hopefully they do something about the drainage of the pitches, these were in many places under water which caused a muddy mess.

    De service was vriendelijk en het sanitair werd goed onderhouden maar was wel ouderwets. De locatie is handig door de bushalte voor de deur, ideaal voor Gent te bezoeken. Wel was er geluid van de weg, wat de nachtrust beïnvloedde. Ook zijn er plannen voor modernisering en er zouden apparte camperplaatsen komen, hopelijk doet men dan ook iets aan de waterafvoer van de kampeerplaatsen, deze stonden op veel plaatsen onder water wat voor een modderige bedoening zorgde.
