Looking for a cosy chalet where you and your friends can escape into nature, but still be close to great things to do? Le coeur du brâme is a charming wooden hideaway on the edge of the forest in Jalhay, perfect for groups up to 8 people.

You stay right by the woods, so you can literally step out into the forest from the garden and start your walk. In the evening you chill on the covered terrace, fire up the barbecue and enjoy the quiet surroundings. There’s also a balcony where you can relax with a drink and take in the green views.

Inside, the chalet is comfortable and cleverly laid out. There are 4 bedrooms, making it ideal for a group of friends or two families travelling together. Thanks to air conditioning and heating, you’re always at a pleasant temperature – whether you visit in the middle of summer or after a winter day in the snow. Travelling with little ones? A high chair and children’s beds are available, so you don’t have to bring everything from home.

After a day of hiking or exploring the region, you can unwind in the bubble bath – a great spot to relax your muscles and share the stories of the day. The chalet offers everything you need for an easy-going stay, so you can focus on spending time together.

Jalhay village is only 2 km away, with a bakery, butcher, small supermarket, bank and restaurants. Perfect for fresh bread in the morning or a relaxed dinner out. Within 10 minutes you’ll find a private fishing and leisure pond where you can spend a chilled afternoon by the water. Spa, the famous spa town, is 12 km away, and so is the Francorchamps race circuit – ideal if you love wellness days, motorsport or both. In winter, there are several skiing options in the area, so you can turn your stay into a real snow trip.

You can bring up to two pets, so your four-legged friends can join the adventure too. Before arrival, you can choose an optional utilities & service package (EUR 80) that covers final cleaning, utilities, service support and minor damage protection. Prefer to handle this yourself? No problem, as long as you leave the chalet in good condition at check-out.

    The cottage is fine, located on a through road but you are not bothered by that. We were there with New Year's Eve. Large enclosed garden with jacuzzi under a canopy. Behind the house a forest where you can walk. Ideal if you want peace and escape the fireworks. The house is suitable for 8 people, but in our opinion max 6 people, beds are good, lovely comforter, beds are doubters, is a bit tight for two adults. The bathroom is fine, lovely shower with good water pressure, bathtub. It looked clean. Kitchen utensils were more than enough, ugly fluorescent lighting, but well was easily solved by another lamp ff put down. Wood stove, keep you can order from the owner via SMS. Dishwasher was broken, but did not spoil the fun. What we did miss was a manual for the TV and jacuzzi. Otherwise we had a wonderful week.

    Het huisje is prima, ligt aan een doorgaande weg maar daar heb je geen last van. Wij waren er met Oud en Nieuw. Grote omheinde tuin met jacuzzi onder een overkapping. Achter het huis een bos waar je heerlijk kunt wandelen. Ideaal voor als je rust wilt en het vuurwerk wilt ontvluchten. Het huis is geschikt voor 8 personen, maar ons inziens max 6 personen, bedden zijn goed, heerlijk dekbed, bedden zijn twijfelaars, is wat krap voor twee volwassenen. De badkamer is prima, heerlijke douche met goede waterdruk, ligbad. Het zag er schoon uit. Keukengerei was meer dan voldoende, wel een lelijke TL verlichting, maar goed was makkelijk op te lossen door er een andere lamp ff neer te zetten. Houtkacheltje, houd kun je bij de eigenaar bestellen via SMS. Vaatwasser was stuk, maar mocht de pret niet drukken. Wat we wel misten was een handleiding voor de TV en jacuzzi, belletje naar de eigenaar en het was opgelost. Verder hebben we een heerlijk weekje gehad.

    The house was clean and on arrival the heating was on. Spacious living room and well equipped kitchen. Large well enclosed garden where the dog could walk around safely. The picture of the house is out of date as a large terrace has been added with a full canopy which should be an improvement Upon arrival all trash containers were brimming and they were not emptied either. The house is on a busy main road which you also have to walk along to get to the forest.

    Het huis was schoon en bij aankomst was de verwarming aan. Ruime woonkamer en goed uitgeruste keuken. Grote goed afgesloten tuin waar de hond veilig kon rondlopen. De foto van het huis is verouderd want er is een groot terras gekomen met een volledige overkapping wat een verbetering moet zijn Bij aankomst waren alle afvalcontainers boordevol en ze zijn ook niet geleegd. Het huis ligt aan een drukke hoofdweg waar je ook langs moet lopen om in het bos te komen.

    A beautiful house on a fine enclosed area along a somewhat busy road but you do not hear much of that inside there is plenty of space and the garden is generous where the dogs were free to run around without being able to walk on the road, under the large canopy at the rear of the house a wonderful jacuzi for 3 people. We really enjoyed it for a while.

    Een mooi huis op een prima afgesloten terrein langs een wel wat drukke weg maar daar hoor je binnen niet veel van binnen is er voldoende ruimte en de tuin is royaal waar de honden vrij konden rond lopen zonder dat ze de weg op konden, onder het grote afdak aan de achterzijde van het huis een heerlijke jacuzi voor 3 personen. Wij hebben er echt even lekker van genoten.

    A very nice house, it is quiet despite the busy road and it is fully equipped. When we arrived the house was clean and the beds were made. all in all a good experience!

    Een erg fijn huis, het is er rustig ondanks de drukke weg en het is van alle gemakken voorzien. Toen we aankwamen was het huis schoon en de bedden waren opgemaakt. al met al een goede ervaring!
