We had booked a “Classic” category mobile home for 10 days—to be honest, I had imagined something different. It was more like a shipping container, thankfully equipped with air conditioning; otherwise, it would have been unbearable. You could hear every word the neighbors said, and by 7 a.m., the night was over.
The gas stove still worked the “old-school” way—you had to tend the flame—and unfortunately, the Classic model didn’t have a dishwasher.
Fresh towels and bed linens were delivered once and left on the balcony; I made the beds myself. The water for showering in the evening was always cold or, at best, lukewarm. Everything at the campground cost extra, even something as simple as a regular ping-pong table.
The grounds are very spread out; without a bike or scooter, it takes forever to get around. It’s impossible to eat pizza on the balcony in the evening because it would have been cold by the time you walked back. Plus, there’s hardly any consideration for pedestrians—you get run over by cyclists and scooter riders. Also, they should definitely ban small kids from riding e-scooters there (and I’m a mom myself)—especially at night, when many are out without lights, and you sometimes get run over.
The stand selling fritule and the ice cream stand right next to it are particularly worth mentioning.
Furthermore, it’s a beautiful beach with great water, but I wouldn’t pay that much money for a mobile home again—in my opinion, it just wasn’t worth it.

A very large, well-organized campground. Perhaps a bit scattered in places; there are a lot of German visitors.

🌴 Our takeaways after 11 days in a mobile home 🏕️

We booked our mobile home for 11 days through Roan, and the booking process was really super easy. 👍

🏡 The mobile home
Our mobile home was very clean, and we felt comfortable the whole time.
Our parking spot, however, was in a pretty inconvenient location. 😅 You really have to be a good driver to park there. 🙈

🏖️ The beach
Personally, I didn’t like the beach that much. The entry into the water was very rocky—water shoes would definitely be recommended here.

🏊‍♀️ What’s on offer
The resort really has a lot to offer:
• 2 great pools
• Playgrounds
• Volleyball court
• Soccer field

These amenities are free, and there’s plenty for families to explore. 😊

However, there are also many additional attractions that require an extra fee—for example, the bouncy castle or the water bouncy castle island.

💰 Our criticism
Given the rather high price we paid for our vacation, we would have liked at least some of these attractions to be included in the price.

🚲 Be sure to bring bikes or scooters!
The resort is quite spread out, and the distances can get pretty long. A bike or scooter is therefore worth its weight in gold. 😉

⚠️ Be careful with the e-scooters, though—some of them whiz by you pretty fast. 😅

🧺 Laundry facilities
There are 3 washing machines on site. One wash cycle costs €7—we personally found that pretty expensive.

❤️ Our conclusion

Despite the points mentioned, we had a nice vacation and a great time.

For us, however, one thing is certain: We wouldn’t come back here again.

It was nice, and we enjoyed our time there—but for the price, we simply expected a little more overall. 😊
