Summary created out of 43 reviews

Camping Poljana benefits from a beautiful location with its own bay and crystal-clear water, which many guests appreciate. The sanitary facilities are regularly described as modern and clean, and the staff is known for being friendly and helpful. The terraced pitches often offer lovely sea views. Points for improvement include prices that many find high, the absence of free wifi (available for a fee), the expensive on-site supermarket, sometimes suboptimal pitch allocation, and children's animation that is considered inadequate.

    A great campground for people like me who bring an inflatable boat or a boat along; the location is very convenient, it has all the essential amenities, well-maintained and clean restrooms, a truly excellent restaurant, and the campground’s small marina is well-equipped with both a slip and a crane. I really appreciated the option to get help from the staff for launching and hauling out boats and maneuvering trailers; There’s only one water spigot under the crane, but it’s convenient enough.
    Areas for improvement: not all campsites are well leveled; the market is really too expensive; the children’s play area is poorly lit in the evening; cell phone reception is very poor; and there’s no Wi-Fi at the campground. But overall, it’s an excellent facility for those traveling with a RV and an inflatable boat.

    Ottimo campeggio per chi come me ha il gommone o la barca al seguito, la posizione è molto comoda, ha tutti i servizi essenziali, bagni ben tenuti e puliti, ristorante davvero ottimo, il porticciolo del campeggio è ben attrezzato, ha sia lo scivolo che la gru, molto apprezzata da me la possibilità di farsi aiutare dal personale per il varo e l'alaggio dei natanti e la mobilitazione dei rimorchi, c'è solo una colonnina sotto la gru per poter fare acqua ma è abbastanza comoda.
    Punti da rivedere: non tutte le piazzole sono ben livellate, il market è davvero troppo costoso, l'area giochi bimbi è poco illuminata alla sera, il telefono ha pochissimo campo e non c'è il wi-fi nel campeggio. Ma in generale è un eccellente struttura per chi viaggia con camper e gommone.

    We stayed at this campground for ten days in late June 2026 and, given its 4-star rating, had significantly higher expectations. Unfortunately, the negative impressions outweigh the positive ones for us, even though there are definitely some positive aspects.

    Positives:

    * Very clean restroom facilities.
    * Large campsites.
    * Beautiful swimming cove with crystal-clear water.
    * Relatively large supermarket with prices that hardly differ from those at other campgrounds.

    Negatives:

    * Children as young as three are charged as adults—we found this unreasonable.
    * There are no trash cans anywhere on the campground; they’re only located at the restrooms. As a result, trash was unfortunately scattered around in many places, especially on the beach.
    * A lot of ants and wasps.
    * The restaurant was closed due to renovations. As a result, construction noise could be heard almost all day long. The Beach Bar was supposed to serve as a substitute, but in our opinion, it’s completely inadequate. The quality is poor and the selection is limited; the food is served on plastic dishes (environmental considerations?).
    * Several times a day, men rummaged through the trash cans (presumably looking for returnable bottles). Unfortunately, this significantly dampened our vacation experience and sense of safety. Bringing this to the attention of the reception staff did nothing to change the situation.
    * Wi-Fi is only available for an extra charge—hard to fathom for a 4-star campground these days.
    * The children’s entertainment program doesn’t live up to its name. Although the activity leaders were on site, there was practically no organized program or active engagement with the children.
    * Check-in is unnecessarily cumbersome. Although guests are explicitly asked to check in online in advance, they still have to re-enter all their information upon arrival.

    All in all, we didn’t feel like we were at a 4-star campground. Unfortunately, the beautiful swimming cove and the clean restrooms cannot make up for the many organizational and conceptual shortcomings. We would not spend our vacation there again.

    Wir waren Ende Juni 2026 für zehn Tage auf diesem Campingplatz und hatten aufgrund der 4-Sterne-Klassifizierung deutlich höhere Erwartungen. Leider überwiegen für uns die negativen Eindrücke, auch wenn es durchaus positive Seiten gibt.

    Positiv:

    * Sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen.
    * Große Parzellen.
    * Wunderschöne Badebucht mit kristallklarem Wasser.
    * Relativ großer Supermarkt mit Preisen, die sich kaum von anderen Campingplätzen unterscheiden.

    Negativ:

    * Kinder werden bereits ab drei Jahren als Erwachsene berechnet – das fanden wir unangemessen.
    * Auf dem gesamten Campingplatz gibt es keine Mülleimer, sondern nur an den Sanitäranlagen. Entsprechend lag leider an vielen Stellen Müll herum, besonders am Strand.
    * Sehr viele Ameisen und Wespen.
    * Das Restaurant war wegen Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen. Somit war fast ganztägig Baulärm zu hören. Die Beach Bar sollte als Ersatz dienen, ist dafür aber aus unserer Sicht völlig unzureichend. Die Qualität ist niedrig und die Auswahl klein, das Essen wird auf Plastikgeschirr serviert (Umweltgedanke?).
    * Mehrmals täglich haben Männer die Mülltonnen durchwühlt (vermutlich nach Pfandflaschen). Das hat das Urlaubs- und Sicherheitsgefühl leider deutlich getrübt. Ein Hinweis an das Personal an der Rezeption hat daran nichts geändert.
    * WLAN gibt es nur gegen Aufpreis – heutzutage für einen 4-Sterne-Campingplatz kaum nachvollziehbar.
    * Die Kinderanimation hat ihren Namen nicht verdient. Die Betreuerinnen waren zwar vor Ort, ein richtiges Programm oder eine aktive Beschäftigung der Kinder fand aber praktisch nicht statt.
    * Der Check-in ist unnötig umständlich. Obwohl man vorab ausdrücklich zum Online-Check-in aufgefordert wird, muss man bei der Anreise alle Daten erneut eingeben.

    Alles in allem hatten wir nicht den Eindruck, auf einem 4-Sterne-Campingplatz zu sein. Die schöne Badebucht und die sauberen Sanitäranlagen können die vielen organisatorischen und konzeptionellen Schwächen leider nicht ausgleichen. Wir würden unseren Urlaub dort nicht noch einmal verbringen.

    The campsite is fine, but I recommend asking about additional hidden costs!!! The ACSI fee or the regular rate + local tax is fine, I understand. However, they add €5.80 daily rate, BE GREEN CONTRIBUTION fee (Doprinos be green). I understand that it's ECOLOGICAL.

    Only 2 stars for hidden costs.
