SunLodge Aspen - 6 persons

When I made the reservation, I was promised Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and an ATM on the grounds. However, none of these were available on site. Especially when such amenities are advertised, guests rightly expect them to actually be provided. If facilities are unavailable, guests should definitely be informed of this in advance.

The mobile home was clean, but clearly showing its age. The amenities were inadequate. The porch, in particular, did not seem safe: it wobbled, and the railing was loose on one side. This is not only unpleasant but can also pose a safety risk.

On top of that, the air conditioning broke down. A technician did come, but the problem was only patched up. Here, too, we would have preferred a lasting and proper solution.

The bay itself didn’t impress us either. It isn’t particularly beautiful, there’s little to no shade, and our relaxation was further disrupted by construction noise.

It’s particularly frustrating that you have to pay the full price in advance (unfortunately) and then don’t receive all the promised services. That’s exactly why it would have been only fair and proper to inform guests transparently in advance.

Overall, we don’t think the value for money is right here. Cleanliness alone isn’t enough when essential promised amenities are missing and the condition of the accommodation and the surrounding area don’t meet expectations.

This was our first and definitely our last stay at Camp Poljana.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. There was constant construction noise throughout the campsite, which significantly affected our stay. In addition, there were an excessive number of wasps and ants, making camping very unpleasant.

What disappointed us the most was the attitude of the staff. As a man, I repeatedly had the impression that I was not welcome. The staff were not particularly friendly, and overall we did not feel well treated.

It’s a shame because we were looking forward to our stay. For us, it’s clear that we will not return and, unfortunately, cannot recommend this campsite.
