In addition, the Baška Tablet, an important Croatian monument, can be viewed in the nearby church of St. Lucija in Jurandvor.

Malinska, on the west coast of Krk, is a charming coastal town known for its beautiful beaches and lively promenade. The former fishing village has developed into a popular tourist destination with numerous restaurants, cafes and stores. The nearby forests and hiking trails offer nature lovers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Mediterranean flora and fauna.

The campsite is praised for its extremely friendly and helpful staff, from reception to the cleaning team. The seaside location with beautifully clear water and a pleasant walking route to the town of Krk is a major plus. Guests particularly appreciate the modern, spotlessly clean sanitary facilities that are continuously maintained. The spacious pitches, well-kept grounds with plenty of greenery, and excellent facilities such as the pool, kids' club, and dog beach contribute to a relaxing holiday experience, although the high prices and occasionally limited space on certain pitches draw criticism.

It’s an okay campground, but definitely not 5 stars and too expensive for what you get. The pool is outdated. The kids’ club is minimal; the spot we were assigned was tucked away in a remote corner with no shade at all (even though we’d specifically requested shade, and a shadier spot right in front of us remained empty), and there was zero privacy because the bungalows overlooked us from above. 10 euros for a washing machine token; you have to pay for beach chairs. The sauna (the reason we booked this over another campground) made absolutely no sense. The price isn’t listed anywhere online (I wonder if this is intentional; we tried calling several times in advance to ask about it, but no one answered), and then they charge 30 euros for just one hour in a tiny cubicle. I pay those prices at home for a whole day at a full-service wellness resort. We’ve seen a lot of campsites, and this is definitely not a 5-star one. Especially when you compare it to Valamar Istra, which offered so much, had nice facilities, and was even cheaper. Or Falkensteiner in Zadar, which is a 4-star campsite but has free wellness facilities and is otherwise very nice.

Zwembad is verouderd.

Pros: A beautiful campground. Nice, modern, and clean restroom facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There’s a wide variety of activities on offer. For the kids, there are several activities every day at the Maro Club. You can basically rent anything you need at the sports area. The market is well-stocked, including plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. In the game room, you don’t have to wait long for your turn because the staff strictly enforces the 30-minute time slots during peak hours; when it’s not busy, though, you can stay longer. The beach bar has super delicious cocktails (including mocktails), and the ice cream is amazing! The restaurant also offers a great selection, and even for very picky kids, there are nuggets with fries. I also highly recommend the insanely good burgers at the beach stand.
On the downside: you can rent e-scooters, which means you have to be extremely careful at every turn because there are so many of them and they go insanely fast.
Unfortunately, no one really keeps an eye on the slides. Teenagers block the slides for ages, and small children run around in the landing area, preventing the kids who want to slide from doing so. I know this is actually the parents’ responsibility, but unfortunately, you can’t expect that from many of them.
A load of laundry costs €10, which is really quite a lot. It’s never been that expensive at any other campground we’ve been to.
Overall, we recommend the campground. Unfortunately, you have to find your own shade in some spots. It’s good to know that in advance.this is a translation, click here for the original
