Visit the Museum of Apoxyomenos
In the Museum of Apoxyomenos you will find one of the most remarkable archaeological finds of the Adriatic: the bronze statue of Apoxyomenos. The statue, which represents an athlete cleaning himself with a scraper, dates back to the 2nd or 1st century BC. Admire the magnificent bronze statue and learn about the techniques that were used to retrieve and preserve it from the sea.
Discover the picturesque Mali Lošinj
Explore the charming historic center of Mali Lošinj, where you will discover narrow cobblestone streets, colorful houses and lively squares. Visit historical sights such as the Church of St. Martin and the Tower of Lošinj. The Museum of Apoxyomenos is dedicated to an ancient bronze statue of an athlete discovered in the Adriatic Sea. The museum offers insight into the rich history of the island. Settle down on one of the cozy terraces and discover local Croatian cuisine in Mali Lošinj's restaurants and taverns. Sample fresh seafood, local olive oil and other delicious dishes. This is also a fun way to get in touch with the locals.

Relax on the beautiful beaches of Mali Lošinj, such as Cikat beach or Sunčana Uvala beach, and enjoy the sun and clear waters. Visit the attractive marina, where you can enjoy the lively atmosphere, admire luxury yachts and stroll along the promenade. You can also choose to rent your own boat and explore the Croatian islands. You can moor the boat at the campsite. With a little luck you will even see dolphins here!

The park enjoys a beautiful location on a sheltered bay with clear, crystal-clear water that invites swimming and snorkeling. The terraced pitches offer plenty of space and privacy, and the sanitary facilities are generally experienced as clean. The restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices. Key areas for improvement include the absence of free wifi (guests must purchase a SIM card), high prices in the supermarket, and inconsistent experiences with staff friendliness and sanitary cleanliness.

Terrible experience—the restaurant was closed, the house was on a hill so steep it could give you a heart attack, there was no gate for my dog, and there was zero organization—both in the resort and in the evenings, when there was nothing going on except a kids’ dance party, and then absolute silence. The washing machines didn’t work... a horrible vacation.

They even charge 6 euros per hour to use the small soccer field. The children's playground has also been in need of renovation for a long time. The restaurant was torn down and hasn't reopened yet.

Sogar für den kleinen Fußballplatz wird 6 Euro pro Stunde kassiert. Der Spielplatz für Kinder ist auch schon lange renovierungsbedürftig. Das Lokal wurde abgerissen und noch nicht neu eröffnet.

The campground is quite nicely laid out.
Unfortunately, there’s no Wi-Fi, as mentioned in the description, but I suppose there are worse things.
We stayed in a mobile home; we’ve usually been to Italy, but by comparison, this one in Poljana was more spacious.
It was well-equipped, including a dishwasher.
The porch was a bit dated.
The water was beautiful, perfect for amateur snorkelers.
The playground was very run-down, but that didn’t bother us because my kids are too old for it.
The food selection was rather limited; the restaurant was still under construction, and the beach bar served tasty food but didn’t have a great variety (burgers, salad, schnitzel, and cevapcici).
The surrounding area wasn’t particularly interesting, Mali Lošinj (about 10 min by car) and Cres (town, about 45 min by car) were nice.
If you want to go to the Lidl in Mali Lošinj, you’ll need nerves of steel when parking in the parking garage.
Insanely tight!
Nice vacation, but I don’t need to go back.this is a translation, click here for the original
Wahnsinnig eng!
Schöner Urlaub, aber muss nicht nochmal hin. -
