Stara Hiža Vlašić is a beautifully restored, 120-year-old oak chalet tucked away on a hill in the heart of Žumberak, near the Slovenian border. Here you wake up to sweeping views of rolling hills, forests and small villages – the perfect setting if you’re dreaming of a peaceful rural escape.

The cosy duplex chalet is ideal for up to five guests and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. There is one comfortable bedroom, a modern bathroom with shower, and a bright living area with a large sofa bed and flat-screen TV. Thanks to the air conditioning you’ll be comfortable here in every season.

In the fully equipped kitchen you can easily prepare your own meals. You’ll find a fridge, stove, oven, water kettle and all the essential kitchen utensils. Enjoy long, lazy breakfasts or home-cooked dinners at the dining table inside, or take everything outside to your private garden and terrace.

The outdoor space is where this place really shines. The chalet has its own garden with a furnished terrace, sun loungers and an outdoor dining area – perfect for barbecues under the stars. There’s also an outdoor shower to cool off on hot summer days and even a charming tree house next to the property, which kids will absolutely love.
