Skovly Camping is a peaceful family campsite in the heart of Mid-Zealand's nature, with direct access to forests and a pond. Guests praise the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who think along when problems arise and provide a warm welcome. The spacious, clean sanitary facilities with heated family showers are frequently mentioned, though some note they are somewhat dated. The campsite is a paradise for children with various playgrounds, go-karts, a bouncy castle and an indoor play area, plus a swimming pool (for a small extra charge). The location is ideal as a base for Copenhagen, Roskilde and other Danish cities, with free parking at nearby train stations. Guests appreciate the fresh bread rolls, spacious pitches and the opportunity to walk straight into the forest, although some spots can become muddy after rain.

A campground with lots of permanent or seasonal sites, among which you’ll be staying as a short-term guest. Its central location in Zealand is a plus. The restrooms are outdated but usually clean. The bread delivery service is great. There don’t seem to be enough showers for peak season, but we didn’t have to wait in early September. Good and … sufficient indoor dishwashing and cooking areas. The camping sites aren’t very large.
Note: there are stray cats roaming the campground, so make sure to lock everything up securely!this is a translation, click here for the original
Broodjesservice is prima.

A really nice place—the only thing is that the hot water in the showers lasts only 1 minute, which isn't enough. Other than that, we'd love to come back 🤗

Nice campground. Not too big, and the staff were super helpful.
We thought the restrooms were fine. Free showers with a chip.
What we didn’t like was having to pay extra. The campground isn’t cheap, but you have to pay extra for the pool. This applies even to accompanying parents, since children aren’t allowed in the pool alone—even if … you’re sitting right by the side. The water was incredibly cold.
We had one day of nice weather, and the pool was immediately packed with neighbors. It was fun, but that meant there was barely any space, and since you have to pay as a campground guest, it’s a shame.
There are activities for children three times a week, but these are geared toward young children—crafts, bingo, and a campfire around dinnertime. There are go-karts, a playground, and a trampoline.
The new games all required an additional fee: mini-mini-mini golf, Connect Four, and ball games.
The fishing pond was completely overgrown, so we were more stuck there than actually able to fish.
The location is great and easy to get to.
Food is only available on certain days. They had fries or pizza when we were there.this is a translation, click here for the original
Mooie camping. Niet te groot en super behulpzame medewerkers.
Santiar vonden wij prima.

You’d think it would be a spot by the water, but there’s barely any water to be seen and the area is completely overgrown. The place wasn’t very clean, either. Too bad!
Also, you ordered tickets for the pool in advance, but it turns out it’s actually free from time to time. A lot of the activities for the kids cost a little extra. What a … shame!
Other than that, it’s a neat campground with great showers and dishwashing stations. There’s a fun playground for the kids.this is a translation, click here for the original

We were only there for a short time, but the restrooms need to be renovated in terms of both infrastructure and location. We went into the kitchen and there was a big flying cockroach. You have to pay for hot water, you have to pay to use the pool, and the campground isn't very well-maintained.
