General information

This tastefully decorated safari tent has a living area of about 25 square meters with standing room in the entire tent and equipped with a lovely spacious terrace with awning.

The fully-equipped kitchen has a four-burner thermally protected gas stove and is on wheels that can be moved outside, so you can cook g**efully outside!

In the back of the tent are two sleeping cabins. One sleeping cabin has a double bed and the other sleeping cabin has two bunk beds.

Outside you will find a covered porch with garden furniture and a barbecue.

Just 600 km from the Netherlands and only 20 minutes from the Wadden Island of Rømø, with the widest sandy beach in Northern Europe, is Ballum campsite. This quiet and sheltered nature campsite on the edge of the Wadden Sea National Park is a paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and cyclists. Nearby you will find historic towns such as Tønder, Møgeltønder and Ribe. At the campsite there is plenty for the children to do while you enjoy the nature and surroundings.

    A great campground if you enjoy peace and relaxation.

    Warm and friendly welcome, spacious sites, a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, and clean, well-maintained restrooms.
    Prices for campsites are average; the homemade bread rolls are a bit pricier, but they taste really good.
    The surrounding area is just as peaceful as the campground; the nearest supermarket is 15 km away (aside from the campground store); the island of Rømø is a nice place to visit.
    Dogs are welcome and do not bother non-dog owners.
    One comment: there are no swimming facilities.

    Supercamping als je van rust en ontspanning houdt.

    Goed en vriendelijk ontvangst, grote plekken, heerlijk ontspannen sfeer, sanitair goed in orde en netjes.
    Prijzen voor staanplaatsen zijn gemiddeld, zelf gebakken broodjes wat duurder, smaken wel erg goed.
    Omgeving is net zoals de camping rustig, supermarkt is 15km verderop (behoudens de campingwinkel); eiland Rømø is leuk om te bezoeken.
    Honden zijn welkom en geven geen last voor niet-hondenbezitters.
    Enige opmerking: gemis zwemmogelijkheid.

    We opted for the glamping tent. The tent was very clean, and the kitchenette was fully equipped—no clutter or outdated materials.
    Nice location near the playground.

    The restrooms were always accessible and very clean. Hot water was always available.

    Leuke ligging rond de speeltuin.

    A well-maintained campground in a wonderfully peaceful and natural setting.
    The restroom facilities are always clean (the operator can’t be held responsible for messes left behind by other guests who don’t know how to behave). The campground offers two kitchens—including a dishwasher that can be used free of charge—cooking facilities with a wide range of equipment, a freezer (for everyone), and a refrigerator (for tent campers), an excellently maintained playground, plenty of pedal cars for kids, a kiosk with fresh bread rolls and pizza delivery, and a rotating selection of food trucks. A very well-organized trash station. Free activities for kids, such as roasting marshmallows and sports & games. Without exception, the staff are friendly and always have a smile on their faces. And anyone who works with people knows how hard that can be sometimes. Spacious campsites. Simply amazing! We just can’t stop raving about it… we’ll definitely be back.

    Die Sanitäranlagen sind immer sauber (für Hinterlassenschaften von anderen Gästen die nicht wissen wie man sich benimmt kann kein Betreiber etwas dafür). Das Angebot mit zwei Küchen inkl Spülmaschiene die kostenlos benutzt werden dürfen, Kochgelegenheiten mit vielfältigem Equipment, Gefrierschrank (für alle) und Kühlschrank (für Zeltcamper), ein ausgezeichnet gepflegter Spielplatz, etliche Pedal-Fahrzeuge für Kinder, ein Kiosk mit Brötchen und Pizzaservice. Wechselnde Foodtrucks. Eine sehr gut organisierte Müllstation. Kostenlose Angebote für Kinder in Form von Marshmallows grillen und Sport&Spiel. Ausnahmslos freundliche Mitarbeiter die immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen haben. Und wer mit Menschen arbeitet weiß wie schwer das manchmal sein kann. Großzügige Stellplätze. Einfach toll! Wir kommen aus dem schwärmen nicht mehr raus... wir kommen definitiv wieder.
