General information

This tastefully decorated safari tent has a living area of about 25 square meters, with standing room in the entire tent and equipped with a lovely spacious terrace with awning.

The completely equipped kitchen has a four-burner thermally protected gas stove and is on wheels that can be moved outside, so you can enjoy cooking outside!

In the back of the tent are two sleeping cabins. One sleeping cabin has a double bed and the other sleeping cabin has a bunk bed.

Outside on the terrace you will find garden furniture and a barbecue.

Just 600 km from the Netherlands and only 20 minutes from the Wadden Island of Rømø, with the widest sandy beach in Northern Europe, is Ballum campsite. This quiet and sheltered nature campsite on the edge of the Wadden Sea National Park is a paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and cyclists. Nearby you will find historic towns such as Tønder, Møgeltønder and Ribe. At the campsite there is plenty for the children to do while you enjoy the nature and surroundings.

Ballum Camping is a peaceful, nature-oriented campsite with spacious pitches, located near the Danish Wadden Sea and a short distance from Rømø. Guests particularly appreciate the friendly Dutch owners who communicate in multiple languages and the very clean sanitary facilities that are regularly maintained. The campsite offers convenient extras such as a dishwasher, bread service, pizza orders and regular food truck visits, while the large playground and fenced dog area delight families and pet owners.

    A beautiful, very well-maintained campground in a very quiet location. Everything is thoughtfully laid out. The restrooms are always clean. Friendly staff, well-stocked snack bar. The pancake truck comes highly recommended. Smoked salmon or chicken with salad, dressing of your choice. Or go classic with sweet treats—simply fantastic. The Indian food truck offers a good selection. The food truck serving fries, hamburgers, and fish & chips is also highly recommended. Activities for the little ones are available at the on-site playground. The pizzas, fresh from the on-site wood-fired oven, are a real highlight. Ordering the bread roll service is super easy via the campground app, and the staff there are very helpful. All in all, a top-notch campground with attention to every detail. We’d like to thank Inga and Klaas for the wonderful vacation we had.

    Ein wunderschöner, sehr gepflegter, sehr ruhig gelegener Campingplatz. Alles mit bedacht angelegt. Immer saubere Sanitärbereiche. Freundliches Personal, gut sortierten Kiosk. Pfannkuchen - Truck ist sehr zu empfehlen. Räucherlachs oder Hähnchen mit Salat, Dressing nach Wahl. Oder klassisch mit Süßen Sachen, einfach spitze. Indischer Truck mit guter Auswahl. Foottruck für Pommes, Hamburger, Fisch & Chips ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Angebote für die kleinen werden aufm hauseigenen Spielplatz angeboten. Der Knaller sind die Pizzas direkt aus dem Offen vor Ort. Brötchen Service ist super einfach über die Platzapp zu bestellen auch wird man dort sehr gut informiert. Rundum ein Klasse Campingplatz mit liebe bis ins Detail. Wir sagen Danke an Inga und Klaas für den tollen Urlaub den wir hatten.

    A lovely, scenic campground with a variety of accommodation options, including campers, RVs, tents, or cabins. Excellent service facilities. Clean bathrooms and restrooms. Very child-friendly with a great playground for kids of all ages. Dog-friendly with a fenced-in area and large open spaces for walking dogs. Highly recommended as a base for a vacation in the Wadden Sea region.

    En dejlig naturskøn campingplads med varierede muligheder forophold, med campere, carvans, telte eller i hytter. Meget fine service faciliteter. Rene bade og toiletforhold. Meget børnevenligt med meget fin legeplads for store og små. Hundevenlig med lukket område og store arealer til hundeluftning. Kan varmt anbefales som udgangspunkt til ferie i vadehavsområdet.
