General information

This tastefully decorated safari tent has a living area of about 25 square meters, with standing room in the entire tent and equipped with a lovely spacious terrace with awning.

The completely equipped kitchen has a four-burner thermally protected gas stove and is on wheels that can be moved outside, so you can enjoy cooking outside!

In the back of the tent are two sleeping cabins. One sleeping cabin has a double bed and the other sleeping cabin has a bunk bed.

Outside on the terrace you will find garden furniture and a barbecue.

What you should know about the park

Just 600 km from the Netherlands and only 20 minutes from the Wadden Island of Rømø, with the widest sandy beach in Northern Europe, is Ballum campsite. This quiet and sheltered nature campsite on the edge of the Wadden Sea National Park is a paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and cyclists. Nearby you will find historic towns such as Tønder, Møgeltønder and Ribe. At the campsite there is plenty for the children to do while you enjoy the nature and surroundings.

    Ever since Linda and Klaas took over the campground, we’ve been coming to Ballum every year. It’s cozy, clean, quiet, and friendly.     The campground is spacious with large sites, and the restrooms are very clean and well-equipped. Electricity is billed based on usage. The staff is very friendly. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach.

    A wonderful campground with very friendly owners who are always willing to help with anything. Beautiful, spacious sites in a natural setting. We were a group of 15 families and really enjoyed using the recreation area with its terrace. The restrooms and showers were kept spotlessly clean. All in all, you get a solid 10 from us.

    What a wonderful campground! So clean, quiet and such friendly owners and staff. The campground is located in a beautiful area and can act as a good base. For the inner man, I recommend a delicious stone oven pizza baked at the campground.
