Flower Camping la Pinède

Following the fire in Die, this campground sent me an email offering to reschedule or cancel my reservation. I requested a cancellation, and an employee told me they would contact me again to discuss a refund... To date, the campground has refused to make any gesture of goodwill, even after I sent a registered letter and attempted mediation.
I … filed a complaint with Signal Conso; I’ve seen that several people are in the same situation as me, so I suggest they do the same.
My overtime hours have certainly gone straight into their coffers—a nice profit for them.
Your email regarding the rescheduling reached us less than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time—it was impossible to make arrangements under those circumstances.
Furthermore, you shouldn’t offer a cancellation if you’re then going to go back on your word.
Especially since I offered to postpone it until next year, which you also refused!
I also see in the comments that even with insurance, you didn’t issue a refund....

Perfect for having a good time and exploring the area. The owners and staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

Our stay was okay. The access road is small and narrow, so check to see if you can actually get there. There are also a lot of potholes… in true French style. We had days with a lot of rain. The campground could use better drainage and sloping waterways. Nice pool, though the water sometimes looks a bit milky. Because of the clay soil, the ground … gets muddy quickly. No grass, but there are trees—and unfortunately, tree sap, so be careful. After about 10 p.m., bring a flashlight to the restrooms. The toilet paper was often out, so bring some of that along too. And if you’re tall, you’ll get caught in a lot of spider webs there. Dogs are allowed to run free because an employee lets his own dog run free too 🙂. The water in the Drôme is actually never deep enough for swimming—so it’s best for dogs and small kids. Just watch out for the current. Teens over about 17 go to the Irish pub in Die, but that’s a bit too far to walk. The Lidl seems to be permanently closed, so off to the Intermarché with the stinky fish 😉. Nice soccer cage. And it seems like we’re seeing more and more homeless people in Die and the surrounding area (we’ve been here twice before). The village is becoming increasingly left-leaning and alternative. It’s a shame there aren’t any investors or that the municipality doesn’t maintain things a bit better. Unfortunately—though understandably—many mountain roads were closed due to the risk of forest fires. Hopefully they’ll get that under control soon. A rating of 6/5 😘 A secluded little corner of paradise, perfectly maintained and close to Dié and all amenities. Chalet 165 is well hidden, beautiful, and very well equipped. Also ideal if you have a pet. The Drôme at our feet. Pool and bikes. The owners are great, as is the entire staff. Beautiful region. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay.
