The campsite is beautifully located on the Drôme river, nestled among pine trees that provide plenty of shade. Guests praise the friendly staff at reception and the two heated swimming pools with slides. The animation programme is appreciated by many families. Downsides include outdated sanitary facilities with fluctuating water temperatures, noise disturbances from teenagers and evening activities, and complaints about disputed damage charges upon departure.

We had a wonderful stay at this campground, which isn't too big, with direct access to the river and two swimming pools.
We also enjoyed the morning exercise classes with a great instructor, as well as the themed evenings.

A great campground nestled among the mountains and forests.
We had a wonderful stay at this campground, which is truly lovely.
The staff are lovely and always ready to help.
The kids’ club was fantastic—thanks to Jenni for her dedication and kindness.
The only minor downside was that the bar owner was a little aggressive.
Thanks to Claudine and her husband
One thing’s for sure: we’ll be back at the campground very soon 😊this is a translation, click here for the original

A low-end mobile home for a very high price (€900 a week)! I don’t understand how you can rent this out at that price.
During the day, it was over 30 degrees inside the mobile home! With no shade nearby, it was impossible to stay in there. There were no fans available to rent at the front desk. With a 1-year-old baby, it was borderline dangerous.
There was a measly beach umbrella on our terrace, but it was nailed to the ground, so we couldn’t even move it as we pleased…
On top of that, the mobile home wasn’t cleaned very well (candy wrappers and used tissues under the bed, the insides of the closets were very dirty, hair in the shower…).
One real plus: access to the river and the fact that the campground is in Die itself.
Sorry, but we won’t be coming back…this is a translation, click here for the original

I've stayed at much better places. The campsites are crammed right up against each other.
The pools are absolutely no place to relax. Part of the space is taken up by water slides. Plus, there are ball games going on all around from morning to night. Watch out for the super-powerful water intakes (I have a big bruise on my thigh)
On the other hand, there’s direct access to the river. That’s the campground’s best feature.
The restrooms aren’t properly maintained. They advertise three cleanings a day! Well, that must have been done very quickly! Not clean at all.
Too bad, considering the price...this is a translation, click here for the original

We wanted to try a “luxury” campground for a few days. So, 4* and €72 per night for two people. You’d think you’d be entitled to expect something, right?
The spot was great; second row from the river. Because the water level was low, there was actually a sort of little beach. There were a few deeper spots for swimming.
There was a lot of noise from the sports field, restaurant, and playground, even in the evening. But you figure that’s just part of camping at a place with entertainment and such.
The pool: one cold pool that nobody swims in, and the other one is packed. There’s a lifeguard. Diving, somersaults, and cannonballs are allowed under the watchful eye of the good man. That makes it impossible to just “swim” or cool off peacefully with so many people in the water at once. The little restaurant was okay. The bread service was fine, too. We found the entertainment to come across as very stuffy. And then there were the restrooms. One building had a constant sewer smell. I found the men’s urinals to be very strangely situated out in the open. The other little building was also low, stuffy, and musty. No sewer smell here. The outdoor shower stalls would have been a welcome addition, were it not for the fact that the water didn’t drain properly, so you ended up standing in your own water—and, if you were unlucky, your neighbors’ too (it was the same inside, by the way). Cleaning was done by two teenagers hanging around: they went from toilet to toilet and sink to sink with a spray bottle and a cloth in hand. So it wasn’t much to speak of. Messy and not really clean.
All in all, the river did make up for some of it, but for a 4-star campground costing €72, I really had expected a bit more. Especially when it came to the restrooms.this is a translation, click here for the original
Plek was prima; 2e rij vanaf rivier.
Restaurantje was oké. Broodservice ook. Animatie vonden we erg professorisch overkomen.
Zeker qua sanitair. -

Overall, a pleasant campground with good facilities; access was a bit tricky, but the setting by the river was lovely. So, it was a nice week, but the service at the bar/restaurant was a real letdown—the staff clearly lacked friendliness. It’s a shame, because the front desk staff was friendly and one of the ladies at the bar was nice too… In short, there were pros and cons, but I suppose the busy season in August doesn’t make things any easier.
