A lovely campground we chose during our road trip. Unfortunately, the walk to the lake was a bit of a hike, but we knew that going in. The staff was very friendly, and we were able to pick our own campsite. The sites are arranged in terraces, so of course you have to walk a bit. The restroom facilities are clean and well-maintained. The view from the campsite is out into the countryside. The sites are spacious, and there’s plenty of distance between neighbors. It’s very quiet, which we really appreciate. We didn’t go to the swimming pool, but it’s a great option if you don’t want to swim in the lake. The walk to Val Castle is quite strenuous and about 2 km away. The value for money was also good, since with the ACSI Card we paid only €18.90, including our dog.

Sehr ruhig was wir sehr schätzen.

A beautifully located campground with clean and luxurious restroom facilities. The campground has a nice swimming pool that can be opened or closed using sliding walls. The staff at the front desk are very friendly.

Too bad—we were staying near the restrooms. There was too much noise from the kids playing in the evening with hair dryers near the showers.

    Overall poor value for money:
    - Inadequate restroom facilities that aren't easily accessible (even though the campground claims there's no problem). Many reviews highlight this issue.
    - Terraced sites, meaning only those on the upper levels have some privacy. If you’re on the lower level, everyone gets a front-row seat
    - Food is very expensive and not good (only pizzas; a bottle of undrinkable wine for 18 euros)
    - Check your bill. Due to an error, I was indeed refunded, but only because the high amount seemed strange to me and I went to complain. As a joke, they offered me a credit toward a service… that I’d already paid for.
    - questionable friendliness.

Positive point: the view of the lake
