Few spots available during peak season. Of course, there are lots of families, so if you’re looking for peace and quiet, choose another campground. There’s also a lot of congestion at the showers and restrooms, which are in limited supply. Be prepared to wait in line for your morning bathroom break.
Some campsites offer a particularly stunning view of the lake. The large terrace at the reception area is also very pleasant at any time of day.

Friendly and helpful staff. However, the campground is overpriced, with sloped “nature” sites that are tiny—you can see right into each other’s spaces. Way too expensive for what it is. You’re paying for the brand name… The lake is hard to get to. The pool is okay. The restrooms are clean but there aren’t enough of them. The only plus: Morning activities for kids ages 5–12.

Piscine ok. Sanitaires propres mais trop peu nombreux. Seul bonus : Activité 5/12ans le matin.

The campground is in a good location, but there are way too many kids everywhere. It’s like a playground 24/7. There’s no peace and quiet with all the kids screaming, and the pool acts like a giant echo chamber. Kids are great, but this is too much.
Otherwise, the campground is beautiful, well-located with easy access to the beach, and the option to dock a boat at the Siauve Yacht Club’s pier.
There aren’t enough restrooms and showers—just 3 showers and 4 toilets (including one child-sized one)—and there are long lines to use them. Same goes for the dishwashing area, which has only 3 sinks. That’s for the facility near the pool that serves the lower part of the campground.

We stayed at this campground for a week as a couple with our three children, and overall we had a pleasant stay.

The campground is very beautiful and is ideally located. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and pleasant, which really adds to the quality of the stay.

The restrooms are clean and regularly cleaned—kudos for that. However, there should be more of them. During peak season, especially in August, you often have to wait in line, whether to use the restrooms or take a shower.

As for our campsite, we had chosen and paid a surcharge to enjoy a view of the lake. The view was indeed pleasant, but we were disappointed by the layout of the site: no hedges, no trees, and no shade. In the middle of August, with three children, the complete lack of shade is particularly unfortunate and makes the site much less comfortable, despite the extra fee paid for this category.

The same goes for the pool, which seemed clearly too small for the number of vacationers present in August. It quickly gets very crowded and lacks the capacity to offer real comfort to everyone.

Finally, one thing disappointed us even more: the movie nights. We noticed that the staff could benefit from more training and support so that these events fully live up to the experience, values, and principles promoted by Huttopia. It’s a shame, because with a little more guidance, these moments could truly enhance the quality of the stay.

All in all, a beautiful campground, very well located, with a friendly staff and well-maintained facilities. However, a few improvements regarding capacity, the comfort of the campsites, and staff support would make the experience even more enjoyable, particularly during peak season.

Finally, there’s no need to respond to this comment with a sales pitch or a condescending reply, as we’ve seen in the past. Our comment is intended solely to honestly share our experience and to guide and inform future vacationers in their decision-making—nothing more. This way, everyone can form their own informed opinion.
