A wonderful discovery: a Huttopia campground.
Friendly staff, TV room, and games available to borrow.
The 1.50-meter pool was super nice, but the 1.10-meter pool and the kiddie pool were freezing.
Super-large campsite (one small downside: no shade at all on our site). It’s been really hot these past 3 weeks 😊
Restrooms nearby and very clean (despite some inconsiderate campers who leave a mess behind—and the campground staff can’t be blamed for that), and the water is nice and hot.
Campground close to everything (supermarkets, downtown, activities for kids, bike park, free funicular for pedestrians, hiking trails, bike path leading directly from the campground)
We’ll be back with great pleasure

The Huttopia Campground in Bourg-Saint-Maurice is a peaceful haven and a great starting point for a wide range of sports activities and sightseeing. The campground is very clean. The staff is friendly and always willing to help with a smile. Kudos to this wonderful team.

The noise from the adjacent road and the construction site across from the campground was really bothersome. The staff was very friendly, and it was nice that there was a small bar on the campground where you could eat and drink. The location is definitely ideal! A charming ski village with beautiful surroundings.
I wouldn’t go back there again.

On the first night, we only had a campsite at the campground but had access to all of its facilities. On the second night, we had a private campsite for our RV, which was unfortunately located right on the main road and was therefore noisy. The restrooms were very clean, and we enjoyed using them. All the interesting activities are easily accessible from the campground, and shopping options are within walking distance. We were there during peak season, and the campground was fully booked. Consequently, there were a lot of people there, and it was a bit noisier than we would have liked.

I always loved this campsite until Huttopia got hold of it and started to rip everyone off.

80 euros extra if you want to camp next to your friends? Even on an empty campsite!

My last visit was on a motorcycle with a small tent and it cost 44 euros per night.

I accidentally pitched on the pitch next to the one they gave me - I couldn't see any pitch numbers and I thought I knew from the map.

On the second night I went back to my tent and it was gone along with everything in it - all of my possessions.

Rather than move it to the correct pitch they just took everything, leaving me to sleep on the grass under a tree (genuinely, this is true)

When I saw them in the morning they gave me my possessions back in a big bag. I said I wanted to put my tent on my friends pitch and could they refund me the next night and charge me the fee to stay on an occupied pitch

Despite how they'd treated me they said they could not refund me as that was my pitch and I could choose to go back if I wanted

2 hours later I noticed a caravan on my pitch so went back to reception for a refund. They said I'd chosen not to stay on that pitch so they'd given it to someone else and as it was my choice they couldn't refund me.

Honestly, all they care about is making money. I make a point to avoid all Huttopia campsites as well as this one

Such a shame as it used to me my favourite municipal campsite.

Location 10/10. Within easy walking/ cycle to the funicular which takes you up to Les Arc. Lots of forest walks just outside the site and a lovely mountain stream to play in which was great for the dog.
Local playground for all ages which includes a bike/skate park.
Toilet/washing up/showers quite busy but always available.
Pitches on the smaller side but perfectly workable.
Would visit again for the location, also super-U, inter marche, decathlon and inter sport over the road.
