May 2026 week The welcome was friendly and helpful and the host very attentive. We were here just after the Ascension weekend in May and stayed for a fat week. A quiet campsite and surroundings. The campsite is easy to find and easy to reach with car caravan combination. Pitches are almost all delimited with a hedge on either side so you always have some shade. Caravan / tent spots are interspersed with some glamping tents and chalets mobile homes. The campground has a park-like layout and is maintained in a nature friendly manner. Because there is a lot of water nearby, biodiversity is high. From the campground you can perfectly start your adventure by bike or hiking. And for shopping, the village of Orgelet is 10 min by car. Fortunately the temperature just went up again after an extremely cold start to May. In fact, the showers are open/outdoor. But the water is wonderfully warm. Sometimes even too hot. You can't control the temperature yourself. We do not use the toilets. In pre-season the snack bar is not open as often as in high season. We had delicious meals. Dogs are welcome, understandably have to be leashed and can also go into the river to cool off in several places next to the campsite. We had a great time at this campground.

Incredibly warm welcome from the manager. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the terrible weather on Ascension weekend, but the manager was our ray of sunshine. Super campsite with lovely pitches, clean sanitary facilities and a great little snack bar. We'll be back with the sun. Many thanks again. Cardoso family
