Summary created out of 211 reviews

The park is located on Lake Vaivre, an ideal location for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. Guests appreciate the spacious pitches and the friendliness of the staff, who make an effort to make everyone feel welcome. The direct proximity to the lake, the beach, and activities such as cycling and hiking make the stay attractive. However, there are areas for improvement: the sanitary facilities are outdated, often not clean enough, and lack temperature control in the showers, which regularly leads to frustration.

We arrived at the location for a one-night stay booked through Booking.com; sheets were, as expected, provided (as indicated on the website), but we were asked to pay €54 for sheets for the night, which I refused... When we entered the “La Bergeronnette” mobile home, it was extremely run-down… the floorboards were severely warped, the linoleum was full of holes and stains, the refrigerator door scraped the floor, the railing was cobbled together, and so was the interior door. When I opened the refrigerator, a terrible smell spread throughout the unit…. I brought this up, and I was told that I wasn’t the first person to mention it and that the fridge smelled like vinegar... But it was far from smelling like vinegar
I said I wanted to leave, and I was simply told to return the keys.... No solution was offered.
The moral of the story: avoid this place. We spent a week at a 2-star campground that was far healthier than this place, which is nowhere near deserving an extra star...
Detours for nothing, tolls for nothing... So we finished the trip by taking this detour all at once WITH 4 CHILDREN—including a 2-MONTH-OLD BABY!!

I was charged 34 Euros for one person, one night in a tent. Although the pitch was large, shady and private my experience of the rest of the site meant that I consider this extremely poor value for money. More than double my average nightly camping cost for my 3 week trip.

The facilities were adequate, no better. The site was busy and noisy. Worst of all the customer service was severely lacking; on arrival I was told I had to 'be quick' as the desk was closing. I was in no way being slow!

I would not recommend this site for solo travellers or couples, despite what claims are made on the website.
