A beautiful campsite, somewhat ruined by the amount of rats. As soon as dusk fell, they were scurrying around all over the pitch - rat holes everywhere.

Spacious pitch for our camper, lots to do at the site for our kids. Toilet & wash facilities could do with seeing to more during the day & surfaces or hooks to put things on

As regulars at Huttopia, we found this campground to be pleasant. The sites are very large, with plenty of space, so we weren’t crammed together. We stayed in a Niagara tent, which was very well designed and equipped. The pool is nice, with a maximum depth of 135 cm, so it’s best suited for children, but it’s more than enough (except during peak season, like in August). We didn’t see a single pest during our 4-day stay, contrary to other reviews.
There isn’t much to do in the area, though—the village of Arnay-le-Duc was “dead” in August. It was sad. The pond is pleasant but doesn’t really make you want to go swimming in it. We did go paddleboarding there (rented from Huttopia), which was pretty fun.
The biggest downside: the noise from cars on the road at night... We could hear trucks on the highway all night long—it was a real pain 😔
In short, this campground is fine for a stopover, but we wouldn’t stay there for more than a few days.
