Shell hunting and playing at the beach
Just a few minutes' walk from the campsite you'll find child-friendly beaches where you can play for hours, build sandcastles, and search for special shells. At low tide, you'll discover small pools full of sea creatures – perfect for curious children. Bring a bucket and a fishing net, and the adventure can begin! And while the little ones have fun, you can enjoy the view of the ocean and the island of Groix in the distance.

Visit the underground museum in Lorient
Go on an adventure with the whole family through the history of Lorient at the impressive submarine base museum La Base. In this former U-boat bunker, you'll discover interactive exhibitions, climb the observation tower for panoramic views, and learn everything about maritime warfare. Exciting and educational for young and old alike! Combine it with a walk along the harbor or a drink at a terrace in the city.
Discover the island of Groix by boat
Step aboard and sail from the port of Lomener or Lorient to the beautiful Île de Groix. This island is a must-see for nature lovers, hikers, and cyclists. Explore the wild cliffs, fine sandy beaches, and the protected nature reserve Réserve Naturelle François le Bail. The colorful harbor of Port-Tudy welcomes you with its authentic charm and cozy terraces. Rent a bicycle to discover the island at your own pace or take a walk to the famous convex beach Les Grands Sables. Here you'll find a peaceful mix of nature, sea views, and Breton atmosphere. A perfect day out for families, couples, or solo adventurers looking to completely escape the hustle and bustle.
Cycle along the Breton coastline
Follow one of the many cycling routes that start right by the campsite. The coast of Morbihan offers a varied landscape of cliffs, dunes, beaches, and typical fishing villages. Ideal for a relaxing family ride or a sporty cycling trip! There are routes for every level, and along the way you'll find picnic spots and scenic viewpoints. For example, you can cycle towards Ploemeur or the picturesque harbour of Lomener. True nature lovers can go even further to the nature reserve of Guidel-Plages, where you can spot birds in the marshland. Bicycles can be rented on site and the routes are well signposted – so nothing is stopping you from heading out on an active adventure.

My three teenagers and I had a great time. Despite the stormy weather, we made the most of the pleasant swimming pool. The site is clean and suitable for vans. Good location in a small Breton village. Quality bakeries, bars and restaurants within walking distance!
