Summary created out of 238 reviews

The campsite is beautifully situated in a green, natural setting with spacious pitches and a central pond, providing an ideal base for visiting attractions like Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, the covered heated swimming pools, and the peaceful atmosphere of the park. However, sanitary facilities are a frequently mentioned pain point: guests regularly complain about insufficient toilets and showers, inadequate cleaning, and unpleasant odors, especially during busy periods.

A beautiful place to unwind and enjoy nature. The cabin was gorgeous and very well-equipped—perfect for our group of six. And the best part: it’s just a short drive from Mont Saint-Michel, making it perfect for exploring this gem of our country at a leisurely pace.
We loved it and won’t hesitate to come back here or to another Huttopia campground! :)

It’s what you make of it—just like the saying goes: “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”

We stayed at this campground for 13 days in August. Overall, it’s a very nice campground with individual plots where you can actually have a bit of privacy. Unfortunately, the quality of the sites is a bit of a lottery. While the tall trees and shrubs do provide privacy, they also cast a lot of shade on the sites. We were lucky and had plenty of shade until late afternoon, so the trailer didn’t immediately turn into a furnace in the morning, and we could ease into the day in a relaxed way.
Unfortunately, our site looked more like a field that had been thoroughly plowed just before we arrived. We had quite a bit of trouble getting the caravan reasonably level. In some places, there were height differences of up to 20 cm. So be sure to bring plenty of leveling blocks. You may also need a long power cord, and be sure to bring a Schuko-CEE adapter, since the outlets are Schuko (at least at our site).

Restrooms: Here, too, it’s all about what you make of it. Overall, it’s clean—provided the previous campers left the facilities clean. They were usually cleaned 3–4 times. The restroom facilities seem a bit undersized. Three toilets for I don’t know how many people, and another four or five out front at the bistro. Two dishwashing stations and three showers, one of which is reportedly out of order. I have no idea how many there are out front at the bistro, but there are some available. Nevertheless, contrary to expectations, we didn’t have to wait long to use the restroom or take a shower. Timing is everything :-).
The toilet seats could use some securing, but I think that’s also due to what some people do to the restroom facilities.

Surroundings: secluded and quiet except for the main road, which didn’t bother us at our campsite, but I’m sure the others further up found it annoying. You’ll definitely need a bike or a car here!

The selection at the bistro was okay...

The pool was okay; during thunderstorms, they let you know you have to get out of the pool, which I think is great since the pool area is unsupervised overall.

Annoying fellow guests: I don’t know what’s so fascinating about restrooms, but one night some teenagers made quite a racket here—slamming doors open and shut, and apparently even standing on the toilet seats (you could see over the privacy screens—there were footprints on the toilet seats). In my day, we wouldn’t have hung out in the restrooms, but rather out front by the pond, the playground, or somewhere similar. Additionally, in one area, some campers were talking so loudly that it was unpleasant; I don’t know if they were part of the same group, but the staff didn’t intervene that night. The next day, things were back to their usual calm; I don’t know if they left on their own or were asked to leave, so I didn’t file a complaint.

Overall, it’s a nice campground with a few quirks, but as I said, it’s what you make of it… It was our first Huttopia campground, and we were surprised in both positive and negative ways.

Also ordentlich Aufbockmaterial mitnehmen.
