This popular 900-kilometer bicycle route along the Loire River in France goes from Cuffy (near Nevers) to Saint-Brevin-les-Pins (near Nantes). The castle of Gien

A 10-minute drive from the glamping is Gien. Something that immediately stands out is the imposing castle. Not only can it be admired from the outside, you can also take a look inside. Inside the castle you will find a museum. Here you can learn more about hunting, nature and the history of the Loire region. Afterwards, walk along the river, and end your day on a waterside terrace.


The Pont Canal de Briare

The Briare Aqueduct spans the Loire River and was designed by French engineer Gustave Eiffel, best known for designing the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The canal bridge is 662 meters long and is considered one of Eiffel's greatest engineering achievements. You can view or explore its unique design and engineering on a boat tour.

    Zwembad en de ruime plekken rondom de tent. En de tent zelf was super ruim en alles was er. Extra toevoeging was de hangmat.

    Mooie tent, goede plek op camping. Camping heeft veel faciliteiten; mooi buitenzwembad, leuke speeltuin, mooie kanovijver. Goed geholpen toen de gasflessen leeg waren en we zonder gas en warm water kwamen te zitten.
