The park is set in the heart of nature and offers spacious, wooded pitches that guests greatly appreciate. Staff are frequently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the variety of activities – from swimming pools to canoeing and archery – ensures families with children have plenty to enjoy. However, there are complaints about the restaurant (long wait times, limited menu), and some guests find the sanitary facilities outdated. Night-time tranquility is experienced inconsistently: daytime noise from maintenance work or music can be disruptive, while evenings see strict enforcement of quiet hours.

5-star campground—I’m still looking for those stars. We came as a family to enjoy a week-long vacation, hoping to find some activities, but we were very disappointed. We came with 16- and 17-year-olds, and this campground is one to avoid—the activities are for children up to age 12 at most. Also, be aware that in the morning, only the mini-club is … open—there are no other activities. Our teens felt pressured and as though they didn’t belong there because of the director’s behavior. Furthermore, in the evenings, the teens couldn’t even chat among themselves with some soft music playing, even though they were positioned on the opposite side of the campground from the accommodations—in a corner where no one’s peace and quiet would have been disturbed. The “gym” isn’t even a real gym—there are only four machines in a small, dark, sheltered corner, and they’re the kind of machines you’d find on a fitness trail. The pool is ultimately the only positive aspect of this campground, with a special mention also going to the activity leaders Elza, Juliette, and Sonia. It’s still disappointing because it’s set in a relatively pleasant setting with good potential that isn’t being realized. In conclusion, it was a disappointing week—thankfully the weather was on our side, because otherwise there would have been nothing to do at this campground.

The restrooms aren't up to the standard of a 5-star campground. I wonder when the last upgrades were made.

Dommage -

Really peaceful but spoiled by man with leaf blower around our pitch. Really annoying at 10:00 am.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bois du Bardelet campground. There are plenty of activities planned every day for the kids, in addition to the on-site facilities. The pool isn’t huge, but since the campground wasn’t full, it was plenty big enough. The bungalows are nice, with terraces overlooking the lake, but they get hot quickly on very hot days.
There are quite a few nice places to visit in the surrounding area.this is a translation, click here for the original

A very disappointing stay, despite a few positives.
We would still like to highlight the kindness of the activity leaders (Sonia, Juliette, and Elza) as well as the restaurant staff, who were lovely, welcoming, and professional toward us. That was clearly what we appreciated most during our stay.
Unfortunately, our experience with … management—and particularly with the director—was quite different. We were blacklisted, and we were also singled out by the security guard (on duty that week). There were a huge number of restrictions, which made us feel like we couldn’t freely enjoy our vacation.
As for the manager, Ms. PIGEON, her attitude gave us the impression that she wanted guests to leave and never set foot on the campground again. We found this very damaging to the campground’s reputation and the overall atmosphere, especially since it’s rated 5 stars.
The facilities at this campground were very disappointing (a concrete playground, a gym where three machines are fighting it out, and no space for young people to hang out and have fun in the evening).
We particularly do not recommend this campground to young people who want to enjoy a lively, friendly vacation without constantly feeling like they’re being watched or told off.
It’s a shame, because with such friendly activity leaders and restaurant staff, the campground really could have offered a much better experience. We came for a camping trip, not a stay at a reform school!this is a translation, click here for the original

If we ignore the ridiculously expensive price of the tent site (€150 for 2 nights, no less!).
- I arrived on Thursday afternoon, around 4 p.m. I wanted to go to the pool, stayed barely an hour, and when I came out, I couldn’t find my flip-flops anywhere!
- Thursday evening: mussel night at €17 per person. There were four of us; the mussels … were inedible—overcooked or reheated way too long—and I won’t even get started on the fries, which were worse than the mussels (even the ones at Flunch are better!).
- Around 10 p.m., we’d barely arrived at our spot when the neighbors behind us started talking like total jerks, telling us to shut up—seriously, we’d just gotten there...
But the worst part was that we got robbed right out of our car... honestly, if you’re passing through there, I think you’ll find a better place...
On the plus side, the employee who greeted us when we arrived—no complaints there.this is a translation, click here for the original
