What a disappointment... I'll never go back. Arriving for a family weekend, the site is great but the campsite and its services are catastrophic. Several points: - We were supposed to have 3 ventillos, but only 2, 1 of which didn't work. We called the reception desk and they only gave us one (despite the fact that the weekend was almost a heatwave), no excuses. - Dwelling more than dirty, the housework hasn't been done for a while, you'll find piles of dust everywhere (it wasn't hard to make the dwelling cleaner), but no wonder the vacuum cleaner doesn't suck, and the dishwasher doesn't wash well, so everything has to be done by hand. - We wanted to eat at the restaurant on Saturday night: no pizza, because "too many orders", we order planks to eat a piece, we order an XL, we are served a size M and asked "si ça va?" when we pay the large, is this a joke? - The boards aren't worth the price: 1) the veggie board is a big joke, just a few carrots, a few cucumbers, a few tomatoes. When you see the price, you expect to eat a minimum, not nibble 3 bits. 2) the mixed one, only 5 pieces of chorizo and a little meat chifonade 3) You don't put bread on the boards, you serve it on the side, if only to serve less to eat... robbery 4) The bread was as hard as concrete, from the day before I suppose... - The restaurant isn't open at lunchtime, but it's nowhere to be found, and no one warns us? While we said the day before that we'd be back for pizza tomorrow, the person in charge wasn't even able to tell us "by the way, it's closed", so we had a hard time eating because there's hardly anything in the area to eat (even more so on a public holiday). In short, I wouldn't recommend this campsite, and I'd never set foot there again.

A sort of Canadian-style "base camp" on the banks of Lac de Rillé in Touraine. Rough-hewn wooden cabins for 6 people, "trapper" and "Canadian" tents for 4 to 6 people, scattered around a wooded park. Large swimming pool, tennis, padel, petanque courts, ping pong tables... simple but effective catering. In short, an original and exotic place that has little in common with a campsite. Prices are justified by the concept. We wouldn't hesitate to come back. The only downside to the wooden cabins in particular is the vibrations at every step, due to construction that's too "light" or economical.

We came for a 4-day family holiday and really enjoyed sleeping in a hut in the middle of the forest. The campsite is very well located, close to several castles and an accrobranche site (Baud'Rillé). We appreciated the fact that no cars were allowed on the campsite (which meant we had to unload the car with the carts provided, which was fine). The walk around the lake was very pleasant. The staff were top notch and we appreciated being able to eat on site, as well as the treasure hunt for families.

Here's a place where you can totally disconnect, firstly because there's little internet or telephone network (depending on the operator), and secondly because it's quiet (no cars are allowed inside) in the middle of nature. The place is clean and peaceful, with all the amenities to keep parents and children busy, and there's something for everyone, from the spa to the wakeboard, ping pong, swimming pool, pétanque or board games, not forgetting the superb steam train that runs around the park. The staff are very friendly.
