The park is appreciated for its staff, central location in Alsace and peaceful setting by a stream. Guests praise the nearby municipal swimming pool facility that is freely accessible. Key areas for improvement are the hygiene of sanitary facilities (often described as dirty and poorly maintained), inconsistent customer service, limited opening hours of bar and restaurant, and insufficient enforcement of campsite rules.

The facilities and activities were excellent. The pool was clean, well-maintained, and very pleasant.
The only problem we encountered was with the Internet connection. We had been told that there was Internet access at the campground. Every time we asked for information, we were told that the problem would be resolved the next day. Unfortunately, we were never able to connect to the Internet during our stay.this is a translation, click here for the original

A dead campground with nothing to do; no daytime activities; you have to leave the campground to get to the municipal pool; the bar is closed all day, so there’s nowhere to eat; no daytime activities offered; the campground is left to fend for itself.

We had a wonderful stay at Camping Paradis Le Giessen. The activity leaders really went above and beyond to organize activities and lively evening events, despite the fact that participation from vacationers was sometimes limited. Their motivation, good spirits, and dedication truly deserve to be highlighted.
In the morning, a kids’ club also offers various activities tailored for children ages 6 to 12, allowing them to have fun, meet new friends, and make the most of their vacation. A little stream runs through the campground, letting everyone cool off in the shade.
The municipal swimming pool, located just a five-minute walk from the campground, is a real asset. Access is completely free for campground guests. It features a pool for toddlers, a pleasant outdoor area, a slide that’s a hit with teens, and a pool with a charming little “wild river.”
Although daytime temperatures can reach 40°C, the nights remain particularly pleasant, averaging around 18°C, which allows for a good night’s sleep and lets you fully enjoy your stay.
A friendly campground, set in a pleasant setting, with a very dedicated entertainment team and facilities suitable for the whole family. We have wonderful memories of our vacation and highly recommend this campground!this is a translation, click here for the original

Very disappointed: outdated mobile home: no TV, minimal kitchenware, no toaster, a patched-up shower, water that’s either scalding hot or freezing cold—no in-between. We called the front desk, and a very friendly man came over and told us the boilers are over xx years old (I don’t remember the exact number), so there’s not much they can do. He had to come when we were there because there was no spare key!
A welcome reception hosted by the winemaker where we were introduced to an activity coordinator—we didn’t see him all week! The municipal pool is only open at certain times; by the time you get back from a walk, it’s closed! On the other hand, the staff was pleasant. Mr. Manager, please avoid those cheap jokes about the Ch'tis—we’ve had enough of them thanks to Dany Boon!!!!! Otherwise, the tour with the winemaker was very informative. Bar closed, snack bar closed.... I won’t be booking again at
, so when I see your responses, sorry to say, you make me laugh—it’s going to have me laughing all day, so thanks LOL,and I was happy when you quoted me a price for two days that was more expensive than a week—we ended up staying in an Airbnb and your unrented place; we stayed in touch with our neighbor, Your responses reflect the very low standard of your establishment—passing the torch will be a good thing. this is a translation, click here for the original

Aside from a rather cold welcome, we arrived at 6:05 p.m., just as check-in was closing at 6:00 p.m.—which is tight when you’re coming from the other side of France. The rest of the stay went very well. It was a quiet, family-friendly campground with a comfortable and clean mobile home and fun activities.
