We had a wonderful vacation at this campground. Our kids, ages 5 and 7, had a blast. There were plenty of other kids their age. Beautiful sites and a really cozy and fun atmosphere. Highly recommended: Teun’s pancakes and fries!

We stayed at this campground for 6 nights. We had a spot on the field with a nice view. Our two kids made friends right away—it’s easy to do that with the fellow campers, who were mostly Dutch.
We made good use of the playground and trampoline. The little stream near the campground, on the other hand, wasn’t really suitable—it was a bit dirty because of the wastewater flowing into it. However, Femke directed us to a spot (2 km away) where the stream was wider and the kids could build plenty of dams.
The restroom building doesn’t have separate men’s and women’s sections, but it does have a children’s toilet and a baby changing area. The building was always clean, though the toilet paper and soap ran out once, which isn’t ideal.
At the reception desk, you’ll find all kinds of toys, games, books, and hiking and biking routes. You can also order bread there, and they have a fridge stocked with specialty beers.
Teun was sometimes a bit blunt when something didn’t sit well with him, but overall he’s a very friendly owner. It’s also really nice that he makes fries and crêpes for anyone who wants them (as long as you reserve them in advance).
The surrounding area is also beautiful for hiking and mountain biking. Swimming in the lake near Xonrupt is wonderful, too. We’ll definitely be back here someday.

A really nice campground, with really nice people running it. Everything was perfectly organized; the restrooms were kept very clean, and the campsites are spacious and private. When we had a problem with our car, they called a garage for us in the next village over, explained the issue, and gave us a note in French with the questions we still wanted to ask the mechanic. In short: we’re very satisfied!
