After a long drive we finally arrived and installed the person responsible for the site and said very rudely that we should come to reception and pay for our unregistered dogs. We booked online and there was no option to register dogs. As we didn't feel welcome at all, we drove on after a short dog walk and cannot recommend this place. Of course, there was no refund of the accommodation price we had already paid. We will follow this up calmly.

The campsite is located in a serene area and very affordable, the staff was friendly too. We were however quite shocked to see there were no toilet seats. Aside from that our house was absolutely filled with ladybugs including in our bedsheets, cutlery and coffee machine (we began tallying how many we removed and gave up at 500). I understand it's normal for them to winter in cabins, but it doesn't seem too much to ask for the heating to be turned on for a few days to wake them up so they fly outside rather than having the guests do it... bonus points for the shy but very cute cats roaming the campsite!
