Huttopia Wattwiller

Wunderschön, um vom Alltag abzuschalten.

Excellent séjour en emplacement. Le personnel est sympathique. Les espaces piscines et jeux sont très bien. Sanitaires propres.

Fijne camping, prachtige accomodatie (cahutte). Wat stoffig en koud, maar dat konden we weten met kamperen in april. Leuke stadjes in de buurt.

Wat een heerlijk rustige camping is dit. Wij waren hier in het voorjaar (mei) en stonden heerlijk rustig in het bos onder de bomen met om ons heen 6 lege plekken. In eerste instantie hadden we een plek gekregen onderaan de camping, maar daar konden we met onze caravan niet in komen. We mochten zelf een andere plek uitkiezen. Wel een stijle helling om de camping weer uit te rijden. Maar met een goede trekauto voor de caravan was dat prima te doen. De prijs was ook heel gunstig, fijn dat we voor de kinderen niet extra hoefden te betalen. Er is genoeg te doen voor kids. Een mooie speeltuin, zwembad (wel fris!), gratis materiaal en baan voor midgetgolf, padel en tafeltennis en bij de receptie mappen met leuke activiteiten voor kinderen. Het sanitair is niet overdreven luxe, maar wel modern. Mannen en vrouwen zijn niet gescheiden. Niet erg, maar dan is het wel belangrijk dat er geen gaatjes in de hokjes zitten, die waren hier wel. Wij zijn hier lekker tot rust gekomen en hebben zelfs nog wat nachten bij geboekt.

We booked a short trip with friends and this is the second time we've been to Wattwiller Forest. The site is beautifully situated, mainly frequented by families and there is always a pleasant atmosphere on site. We were not disappointed again. What I don't like so much is that the padel, basketball and soccer pitches are unfortunately not maintained, or you get the feeling that no more has been invested here. These facilities are always a highlight, especially with children, but not in this condition. I would like to see the focus not only on enlarging the facility, even if that does of course generate revenue, but also on these leisure activities. The rackets that you can hire on site are all broken, the padel balls don't bounce, the artificial turf surface on the court is coming loose, the throwing board by the basketball hoop is slanted and loose, the soccer pitch doesn't have grass but more of a parking lot feel. Many families would get their money's worth here, especially with the kids, and the adults too :) Please don't get me wrong, I think that with a small investment, one or two things could be improved here, at least in terms of fun. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
