    A truly beautiful campground in an excellent location—right in the heart of the impressive landscape of the Gorges du Verdon. The staff at the front desk and the service were very friendly and helpful, so we felt welcome right from the start.

    The campsites are pleasant, and we also really liked the pool area and the overall atmosphere of the campground. The restroom facilities are fairly basic. They were generally usable, though a bit more cleanliness and upkeep would be desirable in some areas.

    We also really liked the restaurant and bar. The freshly prepared pizzas from the charcoal oven were especially delicious. In the evening, the lighting and the mountain backdrop create a beautiful and cozy atmosphere.

    You can order baguettes and croissants for the next morning and pick them up later. They also offer breakfast, though we didn’t try it ourselves.

    One minor criticism concerns the trash containers: when temperatures are high, an unpleasant odor develops there quickly. A location slightly further away from the lounge and parking area would likely be better.

    Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend the site because of its great location, friendly service, and pleasant atmosphere.

    Ein wirklich schöner Campingplatz in hervorragender Lage – mitten in der beeindruckenden Landschaft der Gorges du Verdon. Der Empfang und der Service waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt haben.

    Die Stellplätze sind angenehm, und auch der Poolbereich sowie die gesamte Atmosphäre des Platzes haben uns gut gefallen. Die Sanitäranlagen sind eher einfach gehalten. Sie waren grundsätzlich nutzbar, allerdings wäre an einigen Stellen etwas mehr Sauberkeit und Pflege wünschenswert.

    Das Restaurant beziehungsweise die Bar hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen. Besonders die frisch zubereiteten Pizzen aus dem Holzkohleofen waren lecker. Am Abend entsteht dort mit der Beleuchtung und der Bergkulisse eine schöne und gemütliche Stimmung.

    Baguette und Croissants können für den nächsten Morgen bestellt und anschließend abgeholt werden. Zusätzlich wird auch ein Frühstück angeboten, das wir selbst allerdings nicht ausprobiert haben.

    Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt sind die Müllcontainer: Bei hohen Temperaturen entwickelt sich dort schnell ein unangenehmer Geruch. Ein etwas weiter vom Aufenthalts- und Stellplatzbereich entfernter Standort wäre vermutlich besser.

    Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden den Platz aufgrund der tollen Lage, des freundlichen Services und der angenehmen Atmosphäre weiterempfehlen.

    This campground is in a prime location about 10 km from Castellane to the Verdon Canyon, right on the Verdon River.
    It has everything your heart desires.There are great restroom facilities for babies and a well-lit playground for the evening hours. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice and well-maintained.
    It was quiet on the campground starting at 10 p.m.
    Despite it being peak season and the campground being fully booked, the atmosphere was very peaceful and civilized.

    Dieses Campo ist in Bestlage ca 10 km von Castellane zum Canyon du Verdon direkt am Verdon Fluß.
    Er hat alles was das Herz begehrt.Für Babies schöne Sanitäranlagen und einen beleuchteten Spielplatz für die Abendstunden.Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt aber sah sehr gut und gepflegt aus

    A wonderful stay at Huttopia. The natural surroundings are truly refreshing; the accommodations and restrooms are clean, and the restrooms and sinks are stocked with essentials (toilet paper, soap), which is much appreciated. These are quiet campsites, far from the hustle and bustle of large campgrounds, with a friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.
