We stayed at this campsite for a few days and had booked a rental tent. On a positive note, the tent was clean. The sanitary facilities (toilets, washrooms and showers) were also always very clean and looked relatively new. The breakfast was delicious and the supermarket on site had a good selection of food and nice souvenirs. Unfortunately, there were also some significant points of criticism. The rental tent is now clearly getting on in years. The zippers only work to a limited extent and the tent cannot be reliably locked despite the lock, as it can still be opened. We feel that the price is clearly too high for the condition of the tent. Bicycles can also be rented at the campsite, which is basically a great offer. We were told in an email that we couldn't reserve one in advance, but that there were enough bikes available. However, it was not mentioned that you have to queue before 8am to get one. As we didn't know about this, we were left empty-handed on the first day. On the plus side, helmets are provided free of charge. Unfortunately, none of the three bikes we rented had working lights. This is particularly problematic and dangerous when you're out and about in the evening. In addition, the adjoining park is heavily influenced by prostitution at night and you inevitably have to cycle through this area on your way home. Functioning lighting for bicycles would be particularly important there. We were not informed about a shuttle to the nearest metro station, as some have described in the reviews. It is possible that this service no longer exists or does not yet exist. Overall, the campsite offers some good approaches and very clean sanitary facilities, but for us these positive points are not in proportion to the condition of the rental tents and the shortcomings of the rental bikes.
