STAY AWAY—and I mean that!!!! I woke up covered in hives. When I checked the reviews, I realized that the campground knows that processionary caterpillars have invaded the grounds and do this regularly—leaving hairs everywhere—and they’re doing nothing about it. So the beds, the comforters, etc., are full of them, but nothing has been done—or so little that in just one night I have almost 200 bumps all over my body.... My daughter and my husband have fewer, but still quite a few. The outdoor chairs are also affected—and probably even more so. Overall, the cleanliness of the tents with private bathrooms was really poor. They expect campers to take care of everything, so your stay will depend on the people who were there before you. The worst glamping experience of my life. It’s a shame because the concept is good, but the staff on site aren’t properly trained. As for the meals on site… an overcooked crepe with 2 g of chocolate inside for a Nutella crepe costing 5 euros or 4.5 euros… The other one was cooked okay, but same thing—2 grams of chocolate, not Nutella… but at least it wasn’t overcooked. Don’t count on anyone to give you information; they don’t know the campground. There are games at the entrance for the kids; I asked how they work—“I don’t know.” ... OK... “Could you ask someone?” “No, they don’t know either.” Really a huge disappointment. We got back on Sunday; it’s Tuesday now, and we’re still getting more rashes... I’m thinking of making a doctor’s appointment tomorrow if the situation gets worse...

Special mention to the campground staff—always smiling and friendly! We visited twice this year, in April and July, and had a wonderful time. Here’s hoping the processionary caterpillars spare the site in the future—it deserves better than the string of 1-star reviews it’s received in recent days. We’ll be happy to come back ;)

We spent a family vacation with friends in late June.
The campground is clean, quiet, and set in a beautiful natural setting. The sites are spacious, allowing everyone to enjoy the outdoors.
Our trailer was well-appointed and comfortable.
The campground serves pizza on Friday and Saturday evenings. We tried it on Friday, but the pizza was just average and covered in Emmental cheese.
A word of caution for those not arriving by car: the “grocery store” isn’t really a grocery store—it’s more of a convenience store. Just one package of pasta, one bottle of sauce, no tuna, no fresh produce except for milk, and no fruit, vegetables, eggs, etc. Be sure to do your shopping beforehand.
