Just a few kilometers from the domain lies the village of Villandraut, where you will find a beautiful 6 km hiking trail. The route circles the imposing castle and leads you through the charming center and green surroundings. It is an ideal walk for families with children: not too long, little elevation change, and plenty to see and experience along the way. You literally walk through the history of the region.

Explore Lake La Prade

Combine a visit to the lively Saturday morning market of Bazas with a relaxing walk around Lac de la Prade. This 8-kilometer route is just a 10-minute drive from Domaine EcÔtelia and is perfect for a peaceful afternoon with the whole family. You’ll walk a well-marked loop around the lake in about 2.5 hours, where you can spot plenty of birds along the way and enjoy wide views over the water and surrounding fields. Bring a picnic or rest on one of the benches along the path. This walk is ideal for discovering the local flora and fauna and truly unwinding in a peaceful, natural environment.

Climb, jump and play in the adventure park of Bazas

Just a 15-minute drive from Domaine EcÔtelia, you’ll find Parc de Loisirs à Bazas – a true paradise for families packed with action and fun. This adventure park offers climbing courses among the trees, zip lines, bouncy castles, mini golf, and a play area with water and sand. Children from 3 years old can already join in with age-appropriate activities, while older kids (and parents!) can push their limits on the higher courses. The park is beautifully situated in the forest, so you can find some cool shade even on a warm day. Perfect for an afternoon change of pace after a relaxing morning at the estate. Combine it with an ice cream in the center of Bazas and you’ve got a perfect day for the whole family.

    Great family stay! A rejuvenating weekend with a change of scenery. Professional team, smiling and available. We stayed in a yurt and loved it! The bedding was very comfortable. The pool was natural and the site very pleasant, calm and in the heart of nature. We'll be happy to come back for another stay. I recommend it 100%. Chloé Barbaud Touzalin

    We came for an unusual night in the bubble, and everything lived up to our expectations! A warm welcome, the romantic decor installed on our arrival as we had booked, the copious evening & morning meal baskets. The bubble is in a secluded corner, allowing peace & privacy. The accommodation & adjoining sanitary facilities were clean. The estate too was quiet & well maintained. Coming from Bordeaux, it was great for a quick natural break! We highly recommend the experience. We look forward to coming back and testing another unusual accommodation ☺️

    Nous sommes venus pour une nuit insolite dans la bulle, et tout a répondu à nos attentes ! Un accueil chaleureux, la décoration romantique installée à notre arrivée comme nous avions réservé, les paniers repas copieux du soir & du matin. La bulle est dans un coin à l’écart, ce qui permet tranquillité & intimité. Logement & sanitaires attenants étaient propres. Le domaine également était calme & bien entretenu. Venant de Bordeaux, c’était génial pour une parenthèse naturelle rapide ! Nous recommandons vivement l’expérience. Au plaisir de revenir et tester un autre logement insolite ☺️

    Overnight stay, breakfast with 1 hour 30 in private wellness area (sauna, hammam), small lounge with tea break, outdoor hammock etc...... . Eco responsible, natural swimming pool... Everything was perfect, with a warm, caring welcome. Treehouse with overhead space.... Very clean accommodation, with welcome gift... Thanks to the whole team, we were able to relax...
