Flower Camping Les Ilates

The evening activities leave something to be desired. The mobile home was a mess. They should set up a separate area for guests who want to enjoy the evening instead of complete silence. They accepted vacation checks at the restaurant, grocery store, and bar. Other than that, it was fine.

Being able to rent bikes right there is really great! Everything you need for a great stay both on-site and in the surrounding area. If you love biking, this is truly the perfect place.
The pool is nice.

A wonderful welcome, with friendly staff who really go the extra mile. The "Home Flower" mobile home is fully equipped with a plancha. Located in the heart of the salt marshes, with a spot right in the center of the island.

We arrived on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at canvas ecolodge number 75. There was a problem with the TV, the shower door was broken, and the heat was unbearable with two young children. They moved us to number 74, which was shaded. We thought we’d have a nice vacation, but in the end, the nightmare was just beginning that that evening as I was putting my children, ages 1 and 2, to bed—there were huge spiders crawling out from under the bed and from every corner. We treated the entire rental, but despite that, they kept coming back. Ten times I had to make rounds at night with my phone to chase them away from my children’s heads. We had to evacuate one bedroom; we didn’t sleep for three nights, and at 2 a.m. we called the security guard to come take a look—he found more than 10 nests in the rental. We politely reported the problem to theteam, who advised us to switch to a different rental—which is what we asked the manager the next day. He replied that we had been rude to the staff, even though that wasn’t true, and that “that’s just how it is.” But for me, sleeping with spiders isn’t “just how it is,” and he said that if we didn’t like it, we should have chosen a different rental—but there were no photos on our booking site, it was difficult. He spoke to us very rudely and told us to leave if we weren’t happy, since he wouldn’t change our rental or refund us for the remaining days. We completed thecheck-out inspection. The staff told us they didn’t understand his behavior toward us, noting that he had already upgraded other guests under the same circumstances as ours. Wegive us one last chance—even though our suitcases were already loaded into the car—he remained stubbornly firm in his position that we had to leave the premises and that he didn’t want to speak to us or even see us. Thisis unworthy of a manager—to fail to see the distress of his guests with two crying children and to lack any understanding. He was very arrogant, highly judgmental, and absolutely unwilling to listen. I do not recommend this campground; avoid it at all costs.
