General information
This sturdy safari tent stands on a wooden deck and offers a comfortable glamping experience in the heart of the campsite. Inside, you will find a spacious living area with a dining table and benches, as well as two sleeping areas. Parents sleep on comfortable box-spring mattresses, and the second sleeping area has a bunk bed and a single bed. Pillows, duvets and bed linen are included. The tent has a kitchenette with a comprehensive inventory, a large refrigerator with freezer compartment and a Nespresso machine. For cooking, there is a mobile outdoor kitchen with a 4-burner gas stove.
On the veranda, you can relax on two lounge sofas or in the hammock. The pitch also has a wooden dining table with benches and two adjustable camping chairs. The tent does not have its own bathroom; you can use the campsite's sanitary facilities. Thanks to the spacious veranda and outdoor amenities, outdoor living takes centre stage here.
Please note: the lodge is furnished for 5 people. If you book for 6 people, you can place an additional small tent next to the lodge at no extra cost. You will need to bring the tent and sleeping equipment yourself.

Cancellation terms
Cancellation Policy
Cancel
It may happen that you have to cancel your vacation due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case, you must notify Greencamp in writing (by e-mail). We would like to point out that a cancellation often involves costs.
1 Cancellations by the tenant Standard cancellation charges apply to all bookings:
up to the 120th day before the day of arrival - the deposit (up to a maximum of 30% of the travel sum) from the 120th day to the 60th day before the day of arrival - 75% of the travel sum. from the 60th day before arrival to the day of arrival - 100% of the total travel sum. For all cancellations, in addition to the above percentage of the travel sum, you also pay the reservation fee. Furthermore, the following conditions apply to cancellations:
Cancellations sent on non-working days will be deemed received by the Greencamp on the next business day. Cancellations sent outside business hours on weekdays will be deemed received by Greencamp on the next business day. If, on further consideration, you wish to take a shorter vacation than you had booked, this is a partial cancellation. Greencamp reserves the right to sell accommodations efficiently, so it may not always be possible to cancel a number of nights of a reservation. When Greencamp does accept a partial cancellation, our standard cancellation fees apply to the cancelled nights or extras.
2 Cancellation by Greencamp If Greencamp is unexpectedly unable to offer the reserved accommodation, the renter/principal booker will be notified (by phone or in writing) with reasons. In this case Greencamp will offer equivalent accommodation at the same travel price. Greencamp will judge the equivalence or superiority of the alternative accommodation on the basis of the location, the accommodation and possibly the facilities at the camp site in question. If Greencamp has no suitable alternative/offer or the tenant does not wish to make use of it, Greencamp will refund the travel sum already paid in full or in part within 1 week of the cancellation date.
2.1 Force majeure and unforeseen circumstances Force majeure - without being exhaustive - is in any case understood to mean: all external causes, beyond the will or control of Greencamp, as a result of which timely, complete or correct compliance with the agreement is no longer possible. The force majeure referred to in this article includes, but is not limited to, the consequences of epidemics and pandemics that can be dangerous for humans and/or animals (for example Corona, BSE, swine fever and FMD) , the declaration of a state of emergency in the area in which the camp site is located (for example due to flooding, forest fire) or travel restriction measures by (local) authorities forcing the tenant to leave the tent/accommodation. Unforeseen circumstances are understood to mean, among other things, that the campsite and/or accommodation is in such a state that it is no longer suitable for rental (e.g. due to flooding, forest fire, failure of facilities such as electricity or water or due to pest infestation) or that the reservation must be cancelled due to (sudden) early closure, sale or bankruptcy of the campsite.
2.2 Limitation of liability Greencamp and tenant In case of force majeure and/or unforeseen circumstances, Greencamp cannot be held liable for services booked by yourself (for example: airline tickets, car rental, boat transfer, bus trips, etc.). In the event of force majeure and/or unforeseen circumstances, Greencamp is not obliged to refund the travel sum received by it to the main booker/renter. In the event of force majeure and/or unforeseen circumstances, the renter no longer has to pay the balance of the cancelled reservation.
2.3 Alternative campsite and/or accommodation In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, Greencamp will offer you alternative, equivalent accommodation for the same duration. This equivalence or superiority of the alternative accommodation will be assessed by Greencamp on the basis of the location, accommodation and possibly the facilities at the campsite in question. If the new accommodation is cheaper, Greencamp will refund the difference to you. If the accommodation is more expensive, you will pay the additional cost. If you accept Greencamp's offer then Greencamp will make a new reservation for you. The travel sum already received will be deducted from the travel sum of the new reservation. You will receive a payment request for the remaining amount 10 weeks before departure. If you do not accept Greencamp's offer, Greencamp will provide you with a voucher worth the travel sum you have already paid. You can use the voucher to book a new vacation with Greencamp which must take place within 2 years of the cancellation date. When booking a new accommodation and/or campsite, Greencamp's general terms and conditions always apply.

Camp Redon is a small-scale, peaceful campsite with a warm family atmosphere, run by dedicated owners who welcome guests warmly. The location offers breathtaking views over rolling hills and fields, and is strategically positioned near historic towns like Cordes-sur-Ciel and Albi. Guests particularly appreciate the table d'hôte with varied, tasty meals, the daily bread service delivered to the tent, and the friendly atmosphere where connections with fellow campers happen naturally. The spacious pool and fun animation for children make it an ideal family campsite. Although the sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly, some guests note that capacity and water consistency can be under pressure during high season.

The campground itself was perfect, and so was the hospitality. It would have been an idyllic spot if it weren't for a few Dutch people talking loudly late into the night without any regard for the other campers. Too bad.

Le camping en lui-même parfait et l'accueil également. Lieu idyllique si ce n'est plusieurs néerlandais à parler fort et tard sans se soucier des autres campeurs. Dommage.

Very quiet and clean campsite. The owners are charming. A highlight is the pool being open until 9 pm, which gives you the option to go sightseeing and then return for a lovely swim. Many thanks for everything. 100% recommended. We'll be back – we still have things left to do.

I came across this little jewel of a campsite on my travels through France in June. If you're looking for a quiet, relatively small, rural site without all the fancy facilities this is the place to go to. Lovely, friendly owners and on your arrival or any other time you're likely to be greeted by the chicken or the cat. What a pity that I could only stay for one night.

I’ve visited this camp site a couple of times this year, initially prompted by a friend in the UK when I was visiting Cahors.
It is an absolute oasis, set on the golden triangle plateau just north of Albi and Gaillac in the wine region.
An amazing array of mature trees, shrubs, flowers, figs, damsons, sloes.. hedges around each pitch, each … big enough for a caravan with awning. Lovely views, dog walks and locals selling fresh eggs. There is a beautiful pool, again surrounded by shrubs and trees on one side giving shade if you like.
Various pre pitched tents on site offered if you don’t fancy bringing your own, compete with kitchen pods and bbq’s and all that too easy stuff!
The bar is well stocked with local wine, beers, soft drinks and ice cream.
Regular evenings with freshly cooked pizza, table d’hote and steak frite in season.
Bread and croissants collected from the Boulangerie on order daily and delivered to your porch.
The local big smoke is 5 minutes away, walkable and cycleable, Cordes-sur-ciel, a beautiful medieval bastide ‘town on a hill’, there are several in the region, amazing centres of culture, architecture and artisans still making jewellery, knives, leather work etc
20 minutes down the road is Albi and Gaillac, loads of architecture, music, events…
Getting here is simple, return flights from Stansted to either Toulouse or Rodez are under £100 and the trains run to Cordes, then a hike, maybe a couple hours with a back pack.
Or drive like I did and stay a while!
