Surrounding the glamping in Espira de Conflent are some great routes for cycling enthusiasts. These include several cycling routes in the nearby Pyrenees, such as the famous Col du Tourmalet, which has been featured in the Tour de France. The region is also home to the Voie Verte, a network of bike trails that stretches for 20 km from Ille-sur-Têt to Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet, past picturesque villages and stunning natural scenery.

This was our second year visiting this campground, and we had a wonderful time again.
Fun music bingo, a barbecue night, a flamenco night, and more. It started raining heavily during the barbecue night. We were all moved to a covered area, and then everything could continue as planned. Because of that, we had our dinner much later than planned, but we were glad the evening could continue after all, and we enjoyed the awesome rock band until late.

Deze camping voor het 2e jaar bezocht en weer ontzettend fijn gehad.
Leuke muziekbingo, bbq avond, flamencoavond en meer. Tijdens de bbq avond ging het hard regenen. We werden allemaal verplaatst naar een overdekt deel en toen kon alles weer verder gaan. We hadden ons eten daardoor veel later dan gepland maar we waren blij dat de avond toch voortgezet kon worden en we genoten nog tot laat van de gave rockband.

Great campground in a beautiful setting.
Really fun and cozy for the kids.
We were also given a warm welcome.
The restrooms were spotless.
The food at the restaurant is excellent—tasty and affordable. (Small menu, but it’s okay)

Voor de jeugd heel leuk en gezellig.
Ook werden we vriendelijk ontvangen.
Sanitair niets op aan te merken.
In het restaurant kan je prima eten , smaakvol en betaalbaar. ( kleine kaart maar is oké)

I have mixed feelings about this campground.
To start with the positives:
- a great base for activities in the region
- natural swimming water; not huge, but nice and refreshing
- lots of activities, mainly geared toward teens/teens—which is exactly what the campground is known for
- if you have teens and don’t want to deal with them, you’re in luck here 😉
What we found annoying or less positive:
- at check-in, it wouldn’t hurt to smile and be a bit more enthusiastic; as this is the first impression you get upon arrival
- the restrooms are mostly really old and really dirty; for the price per night for an average family, this really should be better
- the campsites are mostly quite cramped and packed together. Personally, I think the photos on the website distort reality—they make it look spacious and open, which is definitely not the case..
- Since it’s a campground popular with teenagers, there’s noise late into the night (no, not just evening—but actually late at night). They say there’s security? Wat gemengde gevoelens bij deze camping.
Om met het positieve te beginnen:
- goed uitval locatie voor activiteiten in de regio
- natuurlijk zwemwater, niet super groot maar wel lekker verfrissend
- heel veel activiteiten, voornamelijk gericht op jongeren/pubers maar daar is de camping dan ook wel bekend om
- als je pubers hebt en er geen kind aan wil hebben, je zit hier wel gebakken 😉
Wat we als storend of minder positief hebben ervaren:
- bij het inchecken kan het geen kwaad om een glimlach te tonen en wat enthousiaster te zijn, dit is wel de eerste indruk die je krijgt bij het arriveren
- sanitair is overwegend echt oud en ook echt vies, voor de prijs per nacht voor een gemiddeld gezin hoort dit echt gewoon beter te zijn
- de kampeerplekken zijn overwegend echt wel krap en het staat hutjemutje. De fotos op de website vind ik persoonlijk de werkelijkheid verdraaien daar het groot en open oogt, dit is zeker niet het geval..
- omdat het een puber camping is, is er lawaai tot laat in de nacht (nee niet avond maar echt nacht). Er is bewaking naar zeggen? Wanneer je dicht bij het restaurant zit of het natuur zwembad, succes! -

A nice, cozy campground!
Lots of entertainment. Lots of teenagers at the campground. It’s good that they enforce quiet hours after midnight. The only downside is that the mobile home doesn’t have air conditioning, so it got really hot at night.

Leuke sfeervolle camping!
Veel animatie. Veel pubers op de camping. Wel goed geregeld dat er na 12 uur rust is. Enige nadeel is dat de stacaravan geen airco heeft waardoor we het erg heet hadden in de nachten.

A great campground for older teens. We had an amazing week. Depending on where you're staying on the campground, it can get noisy at night—but then again, our kids were part of the noise, too ;-)
