We spent a few days at Camping Le Val de Cesse, and we’re leaving with a very positive impression.
It’s a family-friendly, welcoming, and intimate campground—exactly the kind of place where you quickly feel at home.
But the real strength of this campground is clearly its staff—always available, approachable, and ready to help, with a smile and a genuine desire to make sure we have a great time. ❤️
A huge shout-out to the management couple, Marie-Laure and Franck, for their sightseeing tips—we enjoyed chatting with them at the bar/restaurant—and to the staff in the various departments; we always found them to be smiling, approachable, and friendly.

Hello,
As touring cyclists, we stayed one night in a tent. Our stay was neither good nor bad—it had its ups and downs. Considering the campground’s star rating, I think the amenities and service are rather limited.
The first spot they offered us was the worst: between the restrooms and the bungalows, on bumpy ground. (And to top it off, a car was parked right on it.) Then we were able to choose our own spot as we wanted, so that was pretty cool. (There was no one else there.)
The campground offers a communal kitchen: a big plus.
The grocery selection is pretty limited, with frozen pastries (a shame for a 4-star campground).
It’s tricky to pitch a tent at the campground because of the terrain.
AI is used for all the signage, including the restaurant. The campground lacks any consistency or visual identity. That’s a shame.this is a translation, click here for the original
Bonjour,

Hello
A top-notch campground that’s thought of just about everything, since we’re used to camping with our own gear. There’s a relaxation area plus a kitchen for those who don’t have cooking equipment—like tent campers... The pool is great, the restrooms are clean, and there’s even a place to wash your dog—you don’t find that kind of service everywhere. The staff is fantastic.
Upon arrival, the young man was friendly, attentive, and patient—I highly recommend it.
And as for the brasserie, no complaints—great value for the price.this is a translation, click here for the original

The site wasn't very shady, but the campground is pretty nice. The only downside is that service at the restaurant is way too slow—especially since there were only four of us in the dining room—and while we were waiting, they were serving the people at the bar. Best to avoid it. The meal was a little too expensive.

A évité. Prix du repas un peut trop élevé
