Summary created out of 114 reviews

The campsite enjoys a convenient location within walking distance of Lac de Cazaux and offers spacious pitches in a quiet, natural setting. Guests appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, as well as the dog-friendly policy. However, there are significant complaints about the sanitary facilities, particularly cold showers, limited capacity (only 3 showers per gender), and inconsistent cleanliness. The military airbase next door causes noise disturbances, especially during the day from aircraft and shooting exercises, which disrupts the peace.

We were taken in following the fire evacuations, and we’re incredibly grateful to the campground for hosting us for free. I’d highly recommend it—it’s a very quiet campground, with a lake right next door… and the staff
are top-notch. Plus, we’d never heard of “tiny lodges” before, and it’s a great concept
. Thanks again for your hospitality.

We were warmly welcomed and had a nice chat with the owners
A simple campground near the lake. That’s all we need
Too bad about the two fires that were going at the time. But nobody can do anything about that.

    Hello,
I very rarely leave reviews—or at least negative ones—but future campers deserve to know what to expect before they arrive.
Everything could have been perfect (the lake was right next door, the restrooms were generally clean, the campsites...)
The only—and biggest—drawback I can think of is the STAFF, whether at the front desk or around the campground. The woman at the front desk is haughty and hates her job! She prefers guests who talk to her about her kids. As for the other staff members, they won’t even respond when you say hello. Instead, they’ll go have coffee at your neighbor’s site.
I’m starting to get a sense of the kind of campground that’s going to call me a hypocrite because I didn’t complain during my stay, and let me tell you: NO, I didn’t come to see you because, after seeing you upon arrival, I didn’t want to ruin a second day of my vacation.
As for the campers, you’ll have those who are true campers and will say hello and be polite. And you’ll have those who’ve been there for two weeks and make fun of you for staying in a tent.
In short, everything is perfect except for the staff and CERTAIN neighbors.

    Bonjour,

Watch out for wasps—there’s a massive infestation all over the campground! The reception leaves a lot to be desired...Not welcoming or pleasant. They lied about the rooms—there’s one room inside and another on the balcony, where it’s over 30 degrees...... The good things are the payotte and being right next to the lake....
