Park 524 is particularly appreciated for its friendly, helpful staff and unique location directly on the river Dourbie, where guests can enjoy swimming and playing. The campsite combines a natural, green environment with shady pitches and many activities, and is only a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Millau. The sanitary facilities are generally clean, although some guests find them somewhat dated, and there are regular complaints about noise from the nearby road and surrounding campsites, especially in the evenings and at night.

    We wisten in het hoogseizoen nog een plekje te bemachtigen on the go, en dat is natuurlijk super! Ontvangst is vriendelijk en we hadden een fijne plek met veel schaduw dicht bij de faciliteiten. De rest van de camping is verdeeld in kampeer plekken en tenten/ sta caravans. Het voelt niet groot of druk en er heerst een prima rust over de camping. Ja de weg is druk en de camping aan de overkant knalt muziek tot laat in de avond, maar daar kan de camping niet veel aan doen.

    Het zwembad is prima maar mag wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. We zitten echter liever de hele dag aan de rivier.

    De wc’s en douches zijn echter niet zo netjes, en worden matig onderhouden. Vaak is het wc papier op.

    Ook de broodjes die je kunt bestellen zijn niet super, en we halen ze al snel bij de dichtstbijzijnde Lidl (en dat zegt al veel), maar dat is smaak.

    Het hele terrein (denk aan paden en trappen naar de rivier) mogen ook een upgrade gebruiken.

    Verder een prima huttopia, midden in de natuur en toch dicht bij de stad en dat is wat je ook verwacht.

    What a disappointment! The campground suffers from a lack of discipline that makes it both annoying and dangerous. Between the seasonal staff who can’t answer any questions and the facilities that are cleaned half-heartedly, we also had to be careful because of the damaged wooden floors on our deck and near the pool. The area is beautiful, and it wouldn’t take much to fully enjoy it; the lack of investment in maintenance and training for seasonal staff must be addressed urgently to maintain the quality of the Huttopia brand.

    Quelle déception ! Le camping souffre d'un laxisme qui le rend agaçant et dangereux. Entre les saisonniers qui ne savent répondre à aucunes questions et les installations qui sont nettoyées à la va vites, nous avons aussi dû être vigilant à cause de parquets abimés sur notre terrasse ou vers la piscine. La zone géographique est magnifique et il ne faudrait que très peu pour pouvoir pleinement en profiter, un manque d'investissement dans l'entretient et la formation des saisonniers est à combler d'urgence pour maintenir la qualité de la marque Huttopia
