The chalet offers a spacious sitting area with sliding doors and a fully equipped kitchen, including sink, refrigerator, and microwave. The three bedrooms are fully independent: a master bedroom with a double bed (160x200) that opens directly onto the terrace, and two bedrooms each with two single beds (80x200) and ample storage space.

The bathroom is equipped with two sinks and an XL shower for extra comfort. A separate toilet completes this chalet.

    Hello,

    I apologize in advance for the low rating I’m giving this campground, as it’s having a significant impact on its score, even though my dissatisfaction stems from a broader issue with Huttopia.

    We had booked two van sites at the Aureilhan campground this summer. It turned out that the wildfires in the region were at their peak, … and since we were coming from La Rochelle, all the roads south of Bordeaux were closed, and the detour to reach the campground wasn’t feasible for the three nights we had booked. We called Huttopia to ask if, given the circumstances, it would be possible to transfer the reservation to another campground. Spots were scarce, so we opted for the Cordes-sur-Ciel campground, which offers far fewer amenities than the one in Aureilhan but was more accessible under these conditions. The request was accepted without any mention that there was a 150-euro transfer fee (equivalent to half of our initial reservation).

    I only realized about this charge afterward. When I called Huttopia to ask if it was a mistake, they confirmed that it wasn’t and even questioned whether the roads were actually closed during that period. When I pressed the issue, the representative checked and confirmed that the roads were closed, but apparently I could have taken side roads or taken a detour. Nothing justified the transfer fee.

    So we ended up spending our vacation at a campground with fewer amenities without being offered a refund for the difference, and on top of that, we were charged 150 euros for the transfer without even being told that there would be a fee.

    I’m not sure I’ll give Huttopia another try next year. It’s disappointing and frustrating.

    Cette fois je me dois de m'excuser pour ma mauvaise lecture. En effet des frais de changement de camping ont été appliqués mais le total de la facture restait inchangé. Je n'avais pas le montant initial en tête ce qui m'a induit en erreur.

    Je vous dois de plates excuses et surtout un joli commentaire sur le camping qui a répondu à nos attentes en dernière minute (changement de plan suite aux incendies de 2026). La piscine et les infrastructures sont propres et bien entretenues. Le bar est sympa et on y a trouvé des collaborateurs accueillants.

    Encore désolée pour cette erreur de ma part. Je suis heureuse de m'être trompée et que l'image d'Huttopia soit préservée à mes yeux aussi :)
