The SunLodge Safari welcomes you with a cozy decor, featuring teak furniture and warm wooden flooring. Enjoy the convenience of heating in both the bedrooms and the bathroom, making your stay pleasant all year round.

The layout of the SunLodge Safari includes a bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a convenient closet, as well as a second bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed, all equipped with comfortable mattresses for an optimal night's sleep. The campsite is beautifully located on the river Cèze, surrounded by lush green nature with plenty of shade. Guests particularly appreciate the stunning location, friendly staff, and excellent restaurant with reasonable prices. The swimming pool with slides is a hit with children, and direct access to the river provides wonderful refreshment. However, the significant height differences on this terraced campsite are a point of attention, especially for families with young children or less mobile guests. According to some visitors, the sanitary facilities, wifi, and power supply also need improvement.

    In 2025, we stayed at Slow Village in Anduze, where we also really enjoyed our time, so this year we wanted to explore somewhere new—and it was in La Roque-sur-Cèze that we spent another dreamy week...

    Nous avions passé en 2025, un séjour chez Slow Village à Anduze où nous avions aussi fortement apprécié l'endroit, aussi cet année, nous souhaitions changer d'horizon et c'est à La Roque sur Cèze, que nous avons aussi passé une semaine de rêve...

    A nice campground with a pool and a small beach. The little beach on the Cèze isn’t really relaxing (no umbrellas, tall grass); the accommodation we had was outdated, musty, and noisy (the toilet seat wasn’t secured properly); there are a lot of steep slopes on the campground. The restaurant served burnt pizza. Dogs are allowed to run … free.
    There was air conditioning in the accommodation, which was nice.
    You can swim in the Cèze River and in the pool, which is also nice.
    The kitchen was good, though not really clean.
    The trash containers are a bit of a walk away.

    Not necessarily a top recommendation, but a nice campground in its own right. I can imagine that with one of the newer accommodations (which are also located a bit lower down), it would be a nicer place.

    Aardige camping met zwembad en strandje. Strandje aan de Ceze is niet echt chill (geen parasolletjes, hoog gras), accommodatie die wij hadden is verouderd en muf en gehorig (wc-pot zat niet goed vast), veel steil lopen op de camping. Restaurant serveerde aangebrande pizza. Honden mogen loslopen.
    Wel airco in de accommodatie, dat was fijn.
    Je kunt zwemmen in de Ceze en in het zwembad, dat is ook fijn.
    Keuken was goed, hoewel niet echt schoon.
    Afvalcontainers zijn een eind lopen.

    Niet perse een aanrader maar op zich aardige camping. Ik kan me voorstellen met een van de nieuwere accommodaties (die ook wat lager liggen) dat t een fijnere plek is.

    A very pleasant, quiet campground in the woods.
    Access to the river, which is much calmer than the pool.
    The staff are very friendly and cheerful—truly pleasant.
    The restaurant is excellent, and the portions are very generous.
    The mobile home is very well laid out and clean; the only downside is the steep slope leading to the site—you’ll need to be in good shape.

    Camping très agréable au calme dans les bois.
    Accès à la rivière qui est beaucoup plus calme que la piscine.
    Personnels très sympathiques et souriants,vraiment agréable.
    Très bon restaurant et assiettes très copieuses.
    Mobil home très bien agencé et propre,seul bémol la pente pour accéder à son emplacement, il faut avoir un bon cardio.
