Camping Seasonova La Forêt

The campsites are spacious. The exterior of the buildings is run-down.
The rates are high and not at all clear. One rate is listed online, another at the front desk, and yet another on the sign at the entrance—it’s impossible to make sense of it all. We were told that the rate was random!!!
In short, you don’t know the price until they tell you.

We stayed there for one night. The campsites are very large and, thanks to three sheep, well “mowed.” Separated by hedges, you also have plenty of privacy. We took a walk around the lake (4 km), which was easy on the wide, well-maintained paths. Within walking distance of the campground is the swimming beach (where dogs aren’t allowed), along with … a tourist information center and a small snack bar. Everything was very nice.
The only thing we didn’t like so much were the restroom facilities: The exterior doors were constantly open, which meant leaves and dirt were blown right into the showers. Unfortunately, that didn’t create a very welcoming atmosphere.

We stayed here for a week at a campsite, where we had to use the restroom facilities.

✅
- The sites are very spacious, nicely shaded, and have electricity.
- The campground is in a beautiful location near the lake, where there are plenty of activities to do.

❌ Unfortunately, there were far more downsides than upsides.
- The … campground is very noisy; there’s little peace and quiet due to the through road behind it.
- No cell service and no Wi-Fi
- No lighting on the campground, so once it gets dark, you have to walk around in the dark
- The campground generally needs maintenance and isn’t clean.
- The restroom building has a sign stating that it has been cleaned; however, just one hour after the listed time, the trash can is already full and the toilet paper is gone.
Also, during the entire week we stayed here, the restroom building itself was not cleaned—only the toilet bowls were. Several faucets are loose.
- The building where you can do the dishes or laundry is just as dirty as the restroom building, with cobwebs, dirt, and mold everywhere.
- There was dog feces in many places, which remained there all week.
- The electrical outlets at the campsites don’t seem safe. The outlet covers are missing, and there’s an extension cord hanging outside?

All in all, based on the reviews, the campground seems like a very nice and clean place, but our experience didn’t match what was described in the earlier reviews. Read more Show less

I really love this place and this quiet campground—it’s great for kids. The staff is very friendly and down-to-earth, and our dogs are welcome. The walk around the lake is accessible to everyone, young and old. Bikes, scooters, and activities for everyone—it’s all so easy.

Great experience at Camping La Forêt.
The managers are fantastic and attentive, and the setting is truly peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay at this campground! We had a great time and were very happy with our experience. The setting is lovely, the atmosphere is friendly, and everything came together to make for a great vacation. We’d love to come back and would recommend this campground without hesitation!
